"I want people to jump out of their seats"
Never one to understate, those were the exact words Madonna used to describe the songs on her upcoming album, -"Confessions On a Dance Floor".

I really can't put into words the emotion this news stirs in me.

How can Madonna even be considered for EVITA? Little Miss Cabbala doesn't perform on Friday nights or Saturdays. This presents big problems for producers.
I love Madonna, but I am hoping the new album makes me jump out of my seat for different reasons than "American Life" did.
Patronus- her rep. said that this album is all dance, no ballads, no messages.
I think it's going to be hot.
That sounds like the Madonna that I love. "American Life" did absolutely nothing for me other than irritate me, so I like to pretend it doesn't exist.
A dance album is exactly what I need to erase that bad memory.
While I didn't LOVE American Life, there are a couple songs on there that I absolutely do love: Nothing Fails and Easy Ride.
Hmm, maybe I should give it another listen. I don't think I've even put it in since it's first week of release.

No please - no one sings - we just go somewhere where they play the record:
I don't need to hear Stephanie Block do "Bad Girl"!
But see, I'm tired of the Maddy techno sh*t. I hope this album is "dance" not techno. Even though techno is like dance music, but whatever.
I love a good Madonna ballad, and I'm afraid there will be none on this album..

YEAH!!!!!!
In fact - I dub The month of November, MADONNA month, here, on Boredwayworld!!!!!
I believe American Life requires multiple listens. She delves into new territories musically, so her last 5 albums have challenged my ear. But, I fall in love everytime.
yeah, that last album sure was a challenge to get through.
it is now a frisbee.
Give it another try. There are a few worthwhile songs on it.
I thought AL was pretty good, it didn't find it's way to the mainstream audience.
MUSIC had quite a few fillers, short album. I do feel "Impressive Instant" and "What It Feels like For a Girl" are pretty damn fantastic.
RAY OF LIGHT was obviously her most different work to date.
BEDTIME STORIES is f*&king brilliant, in my opinion. She worked so well with R&B. And this album includes her biggest hit of all time "Take A Bow", one of her best ballads.
EROTICA is naughty, funny, and touching. Def. takes a few listens. I love "Bad Girl" one of my faves.

AL is going to be seen in retrospect as a good Madonna album.
So don't scratch it up, too much, Marq!
ray of light
music
bedtime stories are three of my all time favorites.
ray of light had a major impact on me and the way i viewed things.
i <3 her for that album.
