I think people should be allowed to smoke pot just because it's their business. But I think the fact that doing so would create jobs and tax revenue, etc., too ain't so bad.

Indeed. How many more schools could be build if we taxed the sh!t out of pot like we do tobacco?

There was also the endless repeated meme "As California goes, so goes the nation," which everyone was clinging to before the election, and no one has uttered once since.

I get why people weren't super-active before, too, though. And it's heartening to see the nation rallying about this. I do just hope that as other states are in need (Indiana, anyone?) people from California make their voices heard for them.
