Grammys Gay Wedding
Nice moment and gesture, but I still think Macklemore beating Kendrick Lamar will be up there with Jethro Tull beating Metallica in the Hard Rock/Metal category.
I caught my first episode of her talk show earlier this week, and she mentioned she was going to do something special at the Grammys, but didn't say what it was. I've never watched this award show before, but I imagine that will change tonight.
Isn't it more than just gay couples who are getting married? It was my understanding that it will be a mass wedding made up of both gay and straight couples who are both young and old.

Oooooh, just like the Moonies!
It's not just gay weddings, which it clearly states in the article. Staight, gay, young, and old.

Yep. It's an all-inclusive wedding!

I'm glad it's all inclusive, like a Sandals resort. If it were just the gays, one would prefer an homosexual officiant.
All-you-can-drink mai tais!
They're getting married to "Same Love." A song title that is appropriate for an all-inclusive wedding.
I also hope that we get a Justin Beieber & Miley Cyrus duet. Perhaps they can sing "Nowadays."
So is Latifah going to come out right before the weddings?
Seems like an odd choice if she's not.
Um...why?

Namo, my first thought was the Moonies, too!
I'm a non-violent person - and I really hate the expression I'm about to use - but I gotta say that Macklemore has the most punchable face I've ever seen. I just hate that guy.
Not a big fan of the song, but he doesn't bother me that much.
He's pretty outspoken about his straight/white privilege, and he looks good in a well tailored suit.
What cosmic punishment did Kendrick Lamar deserve that he not only lost to this stupid song and album in the rap category but also has to perform with Imagine Dragons?
All you need to know about Macklemore is had Pope Francis not said, 'Who I am to judge?', he would've been The Advocate's Person of the Year and yes, it would've been equally ridiculous.
I saw online that Madonna will also be onstage performing the song. Not sure how true that is, but that would be interesting.

Jordy, yes. That's very true. It was mentioned in DAME's link and in her red carpet interview with Seacrest, she couldn't confirm it but wouldn't deny it....
Did you also see that annoyed look she sported on camera when Ryan Seacrest interviewed her? She was pissed that he let the cat out of the bag about her performance and let everyone watching know it. And she looked awful, I think. Am I mistaken, but does a grill look strange on a 55 yr. old woman?
Beyoncé turned around and I thought it was Tyra Banks.
Which honestly, would be preferable.

If ANY of those people know what's good for them, they will NOT let Madonna kiss them. Remember how she sucked the life out of Britney Las Vegas and Christina The Voice?
But she needs to suck the youth from someone!

I'm going to light a candle for anybody she goes near who's under 50.
I hear they based the opening of HOCUS POCUS on her.
