Oh Peach...you being a favorite is implied...and my thank you wasnt enough?
Starbucks order is iced coffee grande...that's it! with half/half and equal (calories, ya know...ha!)
Ice cream is very tough, but I really love the combo of HD coffee and chocolate with cereal...also chocolate with toasted almonds. Breyers toasted almond and Frusen Gladge strawberry was a favorite.
I was 10 when the Exorcist came out, and the commercials terrified me. Every actor in the film scared me...when it was mentioned on tv it scared me (at the time, it was a big pop reference.) I finally saw it when I was a teenager and was SO scared, but loved it all the same...I think it is a great film and I love the horror genre.

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
My kids (cats, brother and sister...I love them so...the hubby would have to get out by himself.)
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
It depends. People at work would describe me as a bitch, which would be incorrect. My family and friends would describe me as VERY sweet, which is also incorrect. I'm too mysterious, aint I?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
Starring on broadway...der!
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
My husband and I gave each other the cats a few years ago...so it answers both questions. His b'day is close to Xmas...I wanted to give him a cat for his bday, he was getting me one for Xmas. A friend found out about both, let us know so we went to the ASPCA and these two were tiny, sitting in their litter box watching everything. LOVE at first site.

Thanks, Shamey!! I went out of order answering your questions...apologies!
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
Very tough...SO cliche, but Sondheim is a hero and someone I find fascinating...first answer that came to mind.
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
Hmm...my little family, my house at the beach, which has also been a pain due to the flooding in the fall and recent renovations.
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
I am a really good singer.

Who would you most like meet?
If you were a pair of underwear which kind would you be?
Do you own a Costco card?

Thank you, Papa! I've been to the museum, but thanks...and anyone else out there should go!
and...now then, if you were to be trapped for years in a live action bww thread in which the posters were acting out their posts in real time with each other and the people about whom they were posting, which thread would you choose and why?
Not the banal thread...
Soapy:
Who would you most like meet?
Pat Robertson, Ann Coulter, GWB, several others so I could give them a fat lip.
If you were a pair of underwear which kind would you be?
Calvin Klein briefs...classic!
Do you own a Costco card?
I love Costco, and you gotta have the card to get in!

Aww doodle. I was just kidding! Your thank you was plenty and wonderful! :)
So, you say you have two kitty babies. What kind of kitties are they?
#1361message board celebrity of the day - doodlenyc
Posted: 7/7/06 at 12:35pmNot babies anymore...actually the male is a big fatty. Tabbys, he's orange and she's grey...they are so sweet, and he is the most loving kid in the world (she's more standoffish.)

I rarely pop in here anymore, and I apologize to all for that! I guess after the glory was bestowed upon me, I stopped lurking around so much. And how self-serving is THAT?
But doodle, CONGRATS!
You're one of MY favorite posters, even though...
*licks wounds*
And peach, a belated shout-out to you as well! I enjoy you both quite a bit!

Hooray to one on my aforementioned "five overlooked" list!
So tell me about (see, in j-school, they always taught us to start a question with the open-ended "Tell me about..." rather than the more closed "What was...") your most memorable birthday?

Thnx Cal!
I dont like my bday so much, 'specially since turning 39, but when I was in high school, my mom bought me a second hand upright piano. I didnt really play, as we never had one before, but I played so many other instruments, and could accompany myself by playing the cords...
What was really special about it was that there was nowhere for me to play and not disturb anyone, so she put it in her dining room...where we were forbidden to go. The thing was painted blue and ruined her decor, but she didnt care (or I didnt know she did.) I would serenade her while she cooked dinner.

Thanks, Sweets!
I will try to answer these quickly, but may need to reconvene as I have to go into a meeting for the rest of the day...darn work!
1. Would you rather be a nun or a prostitute?
Well, I'd probably go back to prostitution...I dont like sleeping with girls, so nun is out!
2. In your house, what is the most 'sexual' thing you have?
I cannot say on this site...check out my alter ego on manhunt.
3. Have you ever used an eraser for anything except erase?
I said, I cant say on this site!
4. What is the weirdest thing you learned in health class
That I had a HUGE crush on my health teacher.
5. Would you rather swim in the ocean with your best guy friend or your best girl friend?
Hmmm...not sure...either, I suppose. Sorry.
6. If your significant other jumped off a cruise ship- would you jump too?
No, I'd yell "You idiot, I love you!"
7. If your doorbell rang and you opened up to see a zebra, what would be the first thing you do- (except close the door)
Make damn sure he didnt leave a package on my stoop!
8. If you had to pick, would you rather smell gasoline or flatulence?
tho it makes me nauseated (tho I loved it when I was a kid), gasoline.
9.Do you enjoy popping bubble wrap?
Yes, but it has lost it's zing since I turned 12.
10. If you were able to kill either Saddam Huessein or Osama Bin Laden- who would you choose?
Bin Laden
