Thank you for all the congratulations!
Now that Im back at the office, I will pick up where I left off with the questions (and I'll be here for the rest of the day, till 4:30pm)
So, my dear, what brought you to BWW?
--The demise of the Broadway.com boards
And, what has been your favorite thread?
--Antonio in Chicago is a LIE!
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
--I would say my best friend, but that would assume they'd be sick and in the hospital as well......
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
--Finally finding a job I dont loathe showing up to each day
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
--My IQ is 168
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
--Probably my most recent photo albums.... I love going through them and remembering all the fun that we had when the pictures were taken
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
--Hm... He would probably call me spastic, high maintainance, loveable, funny, sexy, sweet, thoughtful, loyal and cuddly (haha, yes). And he'd be pretty dead on
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
--The flying trapeeze!
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
--My best friend had a Celtic cross that belonged to his grandmother... His grandmother has since passed away, but he's always worn it for as long as I've known him. When his show opened last year, he was getting changed backstage for the opening and lost the cross.... and despite looking for it, it was never returned to him. Around the holidays this year, I found myself futher away (geographically and emotionally) from him and my other friends than I ever have been and I wanted to do something really special for each of them. After much research I was able to find a cross almost identical to the one he'd lost -- direct from a silversmith in Galway, Ireland. Shock and happiness doesnt even begin to describe the look on his face when he opened it.
For the last great gift I was given.... it was also this past Christmas. I came into the city to meet up with a really good dancer friend of mine and she surprised me with a Christmas/Just because/thank you for everything/I know you've been kinda down lately gift... it was a very pretty NYC charm bracelet and when she gave it to me she said "I know you've felt like you're so far away lately, so I thought it would be nice if you always had a little bit of New York with you at home."
If a Broadway musical was made about your life, who would play you?
Hahaha Umm..... Roxane Carrasco
