Oh, DG, thank you so much for that. Does anyone else know The Good Fairy? (I mean the movie, guys!)
It has a pre-Wizard of Oz Frank Morgan who is hysterically funny. See it!
I'll be back later.
Xooo
Under 10? Tweenieboppers? Been there, done that! Got the wrinkles and gray hairs to prove it too!
"drama of tween girls"
brd said "tween"....hee hee
Aw, Grizz, thank you for your sweet words. I'll see you later, too.
Now I am REALLY leaving for work. This board is like a dialysis machine. I'm afraid if I leave, I'm going to cease to exist all together.
I'm going to stop typing...now...right now. Really.
Man, this is hard.
Wow. Pay someone a complement and get kicked in the pants, just the same.
Some thread! Thanks, Jane2.
Congratulations!
This is Miss P's day. Talk to you later, Miss P darling!

jane2: Here's a belated congratulatory toast for you, as well! (I'm sorry I missed your day!)
MP,
If you were a pair of shoes, what pair of shoes would you be and why?
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be and what would you serve them?
Are you a dog or a cat person?

I am so excited to see Miss Pennywise finally start to receive the tributes she so richly deserves! If Miss P were a Musical, she'd be a dazzling funny but also deeply moving Musical Biography of Eleanor Roosevelt, written by Stephen Laurents & Stephen Sondheim, directed by Hal Prince.
To break the ice at meetings I ask people: "If you were a Sandwich, what sort of Sandwich would you be?" I remember one business associate blurting out "My husband Tom, he's a Meat-less burger!"

Popping in for a moment to check on the celebration. I hope you told everyone at work that you're the MBCotD.
Question: As a transplanted New Yorker, what is the biggest difference you see between New York and Maryland?

Congratulations, Miss Pennywise! We haven't talked extensively, but anyone who can unconditionally like all 300 pounds of Jane and her several chins MUST be a friend of mine! I look forward to getting to know you better.
Because of your moniker, I'll ask you...
Are you truly pennywise? Cheap, or just economical?
When was the last time you made a splurge? Did you regret it later?
What's the stingiest thing you've done and would be too embarrassed to admit to anyone? (We won't tell...)
Also,
What dirt can you give us about Jane2 "in the flesh"? Is she a good hostess? Did she offer you rolls? If so, was it the two on her stomach or the one on her back?
What's one international issue you feel passionately about?
What event or experience in your life has changed an outlook or opinion you've held?
What's something you're most proud about? Your biggest regret?
Hooray for Miss P! My new friend and sister!

Miss Pennywise and I got off to a rocky start, with a stupid misunderstanding on a thread several months ago. Imagine my surprise a few months later when I got a PM from her, in which she had some very kind words for me. In the time since that I've gotten to know her on this board, I've discovered that she's a classy, generous, kindhearted and very funny woman.
Congratulations, Miss Pennywise! You are a truly worthy CotD!
Next question to Miss Pennywise:
What was your riff with Kringas about, and do you, like the rest of us, secretly still think he's a homophobic bigot?

Miss Pennywise thinks I'm the belter's belter, thank you very much.
If she didn't take out a full page ad in Variety to proclaim it, you ain't got nothin'.

Your logic is flawless, Tiff. I can't argue with that.
Viva Miss Pennywise!
Best12, did I do something to offend you? Please let me know! If so, I'm so sorry.
I doubt it, Miss P, I think he was responding to one of Jane's posts from last night.
