beacon - WHAT?!?! *grabs camera and calendar* When?!

(psst -- it's a trick question. The proper answer would allow him in, because everyone knows Carol Channing and Loretta Swit can walk on water )

Cheers to Dollypop! Congrats on your special day!
My silly questions:
What's your Starbucks order? If you don't have one, what would you get if Starbucks was the only place to get a beverage or snack?
What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Congrats, Dollypop!
I was going to ask a question, but the questions seem to be backing up here as we wait for you to get back from school. Since you are Celebrity for a whole weekend, I'll revisit later with questions.
Enjoy your days!
Congrats Dolly - enjoy your day.

OMG, Sueleen! Slowly he'll turn, step by step, inch by inch...
I thought he loved Hello Dolly. Thus his screen name. Did I do something wrong?

Sueleen...you've posted a pic of The Happiest Musical with That Streisand Woman.
People, I believe that is DEF CON 3.

What? What did I do? Everyone knows that Babs was in the movie version of Hello Dolly. To millions and millions of people she IS Dolly. Everyone knows gentlemen prefer red-heads!
I feel as though Carol Channing is the Celebrity of the Day!
Congratulations, Dolly.
Here's an interesting one of her, very dramatic...
Dollypop, I bet you HAVE this album!

Congratulations, Dollypop. This is the day to enjoy dinner at the Harmonia Gardens and descend your staircase. Wishing you a day of Yankee Candles and Brendan pics. This celebration should be big enough to get you out of your widows weeds. Question - who was YOUR favourite teacher and why?
Congrats to a teacher whom I hope I never become as bitter as. Serisouly though, I am sure that you have helped make many lives better throughout your career. Enjoy your day and relax with your favorite non-alcoholic drink (avoid the perils!) and this picture.

Who is DollyPop? I have never heard of him.
Dp Absolutely one of my favorite posters. I shall never ask you questions about teaching. ha ha It is probably not even your favorite subject. I guess I don't merit being recognized as a celebrity. May you and TGC live on forever in our hearts.

Thank you very much for this honor but you've really picked a bad time for me. As Lent winds down I have lots and lots of responsibilities at my church. As it is, I have to dash out to sing at the Stations of the Cross tonight and then join a group braiding palm to decorate the altar with on Sunday.
Oh, Sueleen, you are a vile and perfidious creature!

Super cyber hug to you, my dear. I'll make my question an easy one. How's the article coming along?
Some questions...
Have you ever dressed up like Carol Channing?
Have you ever had sexual relations with Brendan Stryker?
Who do you like better...Corine2 or Pati B?

Okay, I have a few minutes before leaving for church, so let me start answering these questions. We'll start with Craig:
1. What made you decide to become a teacher?
July and August
2. What is the most rewarding thing about teaching (for you)
The paycheck
3. Can you share one of your proudest moments as a teacher?
I guess it ws the night I got a standing ovation for directing
a high school prodcution of NOISES OFF. It really was a
flawless production.
4. What's one thing you've struggled with in your life that you were able to overcome?
This is rather personal. I was born with a severe handicap
that I swore I would never discuss in public. I have learned
deal with it to the point that very few people realize I
am handicapped. This is why I am so impatient with people
who don't learn to cope with the hand of cards we're dealt at
birth.
5. Who are your inspirations?
St. Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life in Auschwitz so that
another man could live and ultimately go home to his family.
St. Bernadette Soubirous, who not only received 18 visions of
the Virgin Mary, but went on to live a life of service to
the ill and infirm. Her body has experienced no decay and
is lying in the convent of Never, France.
St. Francis of Assisi, who realized that the harmony of nature
is all part of God's Divine Plan.
St. Joseph of Nazareth, the foster father of Christ. As an
adoptive father, I look to his example time and time again.

DollyPop, because you chose to be a survivor rather than a victim in life, you are who you are today. You passed that philosophy on to me when I was a kid by letting me know that I am an extremely worthwhile person who is capable of many things. Coming from a very emotionally disturbed family, that was the greatest gift I could have ever received. True, it took me almost 25 years to realize that........but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for being a very important person in my life.
