Slight threadjack, but Kitz I love those questions. I think that all MBCotDs should have to answer those.

Patronus, your answer to the Rent question brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait to read your answers to the rest of the questions when I come in tomorrow morning. I hope you have enjoyed your little day of sunshine as much as I enjoyed mine.
What is one thing that we would be surprised to know about you?
What song is the absolute worst ever written, Broadway or otherwise?
Which member of your family are you most like? Least like?

Thank you Katie - for taking the time to answer my questions and for naming Patronius as your successor! I have been tied up in one mess after another today and I nearly missed it! I'm so sorry P! Maybe I'll get my act together later on when you get back.

Just a quick pop in on my break at work. This day is going by SO slowly because I just want to get home already and play.
I am looking forward to answering all these questions.
Thanks for Hogwarts, Mamie! It's definitely this kings castle today.

Posted: 2/23/06 at 7:04pmCongratulations, Patronus. We really haven't spoken much on this board, but I always enjoy your wit, intelligence and passion for the things you care for. You are truly worthy of being honored. Have a wonderful weekend and I'm going to look forward to reading everything you have to say! And congratulations to both you and Anji. The kind of love you have is rare.

I've been negligent. Not only is it well into evening before I am stopping in to declare a Code Champagne for Patroneus, but I totally MISSED congratulating Katygrace, with whom I recently bonded over our appreciation of Red Light Winter.
All my best to both of you. Do not take my tardiness as indicating any lack of sincerity. It's me. Not you.
Hope yesterday was special for you KG....and enjoy the rest of your night, P!

katygrace84 asked:
Mr. Patronus, sir, I would like to know what silly thing (beating someone at Trivial Pursuit, perfecting a recipe, etc.) you are most proud of.
Actually, it's funny you mention Trivial Pursuit. Anji is uber-intelligent. Everytime I get lucky and win a game of Trivial Pursuit, I am thrilled! (Even if it is *is* typically because she gets stuck on the sports questions.)

Patronus was on my short list when it came time for me to choose a CotD. I'm glad to see his day has come. Congratulations!
Wow! Thanks for that Kringas. I appreciate it. Do you still feel that way after the Angela Bassett/Holly Hunter response?
Tiff asked:
1. Longest you've gone without changing your underwear.
What kind of psychotic question is that?
Um, not long. Maybe 2 days in an emergency.
2. What is a surprising dream/goal/fantasy of yours?
I don't know how surprising this is, but one of my goals is to go to every Major League Baseball Stadium in the country.
3. What behavior or little quirks make you tick?
I am hyper organized and detailed oriented. Even if things are a mess, it's a very organized mess.
4. What's been the best and worst part of BWW Idol so far?
Best: Kerrie's version of "Still Hurting" Worst: Rath having to leave the competetion.
5. You've got Bono's undivided attention for 20 minutes. There's an acoustic guitar, a mechanical bull and a couch. (You don't HAVE to use them, I'm just saying the opportunities are there.) What do you do?
Well, I'd chat with him for 5 minutes about the state of World Poverty and ask what I can do to help as a regular joe. I'd take another 5 and ask him to sing "Dancing Barefoot." I'd take the last 10 minutes and say, "See that little woman over there? That's my wife. Can you go talk to her? Angelina Jolie is home.
