To my friend.

The guy who always has a smile on his face, a song in his heart and who knows that life is a wonderful, exciting dance which is best if shared with friends and family.

He is someone who has been there for me when I've been down, and has shared in the silly moments of life - as well as everything in between.

All that, and he plays the sax!

I am proud to place the tiara today on my friend's head. I feel bad for whoever is named tomorrow though..I have a feeling he won't give up the crown so easy.

Question....if you could interview any person (dead or alive) who would it be and what questions would you ask?

Thank you to Kelrel, Glebb, Liotte and especially SouthFlMarc for nominating me. To say the least, THIS was unexpected…but hey, this is my reward for getting up at 5AM and being the only poster around to answer Marc’s tricky question.


Addy, my darling, you’re the top. The absolute top. I’d start quoting all of the Cole Porter lyrics but I’d hate to infringe on a copyright. Needless to say, I can’t think of one that doesn’t apply. I LOVE you more than I say and definitely more than I can express.

Sword, you will forever my by baby mama. How’s Shoshana? Is she out of diapers yet? I can never remember how old she is. Sorry the alimony’s behind. But, in all seriousness, you remain one of my favorite people on the planet. I can’t think of another person I’d rather stage door with and be a co-anti-fan.

Absolutely, positively, Jesus Christ. I have so many questions for him I don’t know where to start, but I’d probably go with the state of the US. I’d ask him specifically to explain whether or not the fundamental interpretation of the Bible is accurate or a bunch of bunk. I’d like to know what he thinks of the atrocities committed in his name. I’d like to know whether or not we’re anywhere near being Christ-like or if we’re just a bunch of living, breathing hypocrites.
Plus, I kind of want to see what he thinks of tie-dye. And I’d like to see if he has any tattoos or piercings.

Addy, dear, I just wanted to say one more thing about you (and then I’ll stop since today’s about selfish ol’ me!): I am constantly amazed at you. You opened me up to a lot of new things, not the least of which is my newly leaky heart. It might not match yours but it’s a big change for me. And, for that, I’m forever grateful.

DG, it does indeed. I semi-accomplished it with one show (it's a technicality, but it was a Broadway contract), but I have to confess that my priorities and ever-growing desire for stability have put a damper on the show-to-show mentality I had when I first arrived. These days, my name ought to be 9to5Singer.

Boobs, that's a VERY tough one. But my answer is the one I've wanted to do for years. Meadowlark. In the original key. The answer is simply because I can.
