He is like a real brother to me so I want him home, but I know that as soon as he is home I will have a big brother picking on me all the time again. It will be nice at first, but then I'll probably want to send him away again. Perhaps not to Iraq, but away. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - kelrel

Light on the questions! We can’t have that now can we?

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?

What has given you the most (non-sexual and non-criminal) pleasure in the last year?

If you could be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be, and what would you do?

If someone gave you a million dollars, how would you spend it?

If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Kel,

How did it go with your PC?

And, I can't remember if I told you that my mother's mother's family has Kentucky roots. Northeast side of the State. Carter and Perry County (plus over into NC, WV, and VA).

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives? I would want my best friend Bri. She is hilarious and like a sister to me. The only down side would be that every time she calls the first thing out of her mouth is "When are you having a baby?"

What has given you the most (non-sexual and non-criminal) pleasure in the last year? Growing closer to my nephews

If you could be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be, and what would you do? I would be me in about 3 years, I would be out of school, working in my own classroom and hopefully starting a family.

If someone gave you a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would pay off all of my debts, help my family with theirs, buy a home and a new car and then invest the rest for my future children's educations. I would probably take a vacation and splurge a little too.
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out? I would grab my dogs, my pc (it has photos and such saved to it and all of my school stuff) and my lock box that has all of my insurance info in it.

beacon- my pc is in working order, I just have to set it back up so that I know where all of my files are again. It was a nightmare having it in limbo like that. I didn't know if they would be able to save my data or not. This is the middle of the semster and all of my classes and basically one giant cumulative project and if I lost the info I would have been in so much trouble.

Babe- Aww thanks sweetie! I love you hon.

What's the first thing (drink) you got loaded on. Where was it?
It was on SoCo and Cokes (the soda not the drug), LITs, and Tequila Sunrises. It was at a frat party when I was still in my sorority. I got so drunk and had the worst hangover of my life the next day. Since then I have behaved and only had one hang over since and that was on my 21st.
What do you think is the silliest word in the english language (or a few of them) ottamottapia and Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia (the phobia of extremely long words, also the longest word in the english language)

What are three things you think every person on here should remember?
Someone, somewhere loves you
Whenever things seem really bad then you should go volunteer at a homeless shelter- that will always put things in perspective
Always look on the bright side of life

What's your favorite pig-out food? strawberries or watermelon

Where and what was your best meal?
The first time I had my husband's pasta. He is a wonderful cook and it was our first meal in our first apartment together after he got out of the army.
And have you ever had a surprise party? if so, tell us about it and if you were actually surprised
I had a surprise part for my 16th. I spent the night before at my cousin's house and we went shopping, then she drove me home. We decided to stop at the park so that her daughter could play. My father was out of town for work so I wasn't expecting anything to happen that night. I thought I was having a party the upcoming weekend. When we got to the park my cousin asked me to follow her to the shelter so that she could see if it was unlocked so she could go to the bathroom and if I would hold her child. I followed her up there and all of a sudden all of my friends and family came rushing out. I was totally shocked. My father was there of course and came out and handed me a gift box which held the keys to my first car.

1. Who were your favorite authors as a teenager? Anne Rice and Michael Crichton
2. You mentioned being a DJ...what kind of music did your station
play? I was a DJ at an alternative rock station
3. Favorite name for a boy? Favorite name for a girl? Ryan, Fiona, Mia
4. If you could give three pieces of advice to college seniors,
what would they be?
Start saving now, don't go nuts when you start making "real" money, don't grow up too fast.
5. When you go to NYC will you stand outside the Cort theater and
shout warnings to Mister Wilson? I don't think that there is any need. I'm sure he knows what's coming. Its like in horror movies, there is always that quiet music in the background...I'm sure he hears. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - kelrel
6. What brought you to BWW and how long did it take for you to
discover the OT board...and then to post on it? My husband was looking at something about Robert DeNiro on IMBD, from there he saw that he was producing RENT. He told me and I googled it and found BWW. I posted a couple times on the main board and then accidently clicked on the OT board. Next thing you know I started posting. I had no fear...I was a naieve little girl lol. I should have been much more afriad. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - kelrel
7. What music was played at your wedding? All sorts of stuff. Our first dance was to When I Fall in Love from Sleepless in Seattle.

message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - kelrel I noticed that quite a few teachers have gathered at this web site. What do you think the common attraction (if any) is? For you specifically, what brought you here and what kept you here once you found us?

(Don't forget - we have a date with Tai coming up! I want to hear all about your NY trip AND see your pics!)

I think that teachers are creative people, we have to be. Theater is a very creative medium and I guess therein lies the attraction. The thing that keeps me here is the wonderful friends I have found and the fact that being here has helped me to become a better person. I have learned a lot and had my eyes opened to many different view points and opinions.

I can't wait to see Tai and hopefully my camera works this time. For some odd reason my cameras always seem to die in DC. The batteries died the first time and second time, the third time I had a disposable camera and the pictures were all fuzzy, etc...the last time my camera died...this new one cost a lot and had better work. message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - kelrel Thanks for the cute panda pictures!!
