Dear Kel, congratulations on the well deserved recognition.
José
Thank you again to everyone. Jose` thank you for stopping by, it means a lot to me.
Well Wendy, it is a funny story how I met my husband. My aunt works on the campus of my university and I used to come to work with her to see if I wanted to go to school here. At the time I wanted to be a computer science major (this was before I realized just how much math was involved. Note that I want to teach Kindergarten now lol) so I went to the engineering building to get some information from the main office. I got on the elevator and there was a guy on there with me. I was already nervous, as I HATE elevators, and then here was this cute guy. So I started talking to him because I was nervous and here I was a little 15 year old in an elevator with a cute college guy. Well he called me on my nerves and called me a chicken in a much more vulgar way. I was taken aback and shocked and thought that he was rude and an ass. Throughout the next few times I was on campus I kept running into him. We became friends and exchanged AIM info. He found out that he couldn't finish college because of money issues. He joined the Army and we kept in touch. Over the years I fell for him, but I didn't have the guts to tell him. I started college and a few weeks after I moved into the dorms he came to visit me on his way to his brother's wedding. We went to see a movie and then he leaned over and kissed me. I was floored. If you have ever seen the movie Never Been Kissed then you can get an idea of how that kiss was. Time stood still and I knew right then that this was the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He had been my best friend for years, he knew all my secrets, all my fears and faults, yet he still loved me. We had a long distance relationship while he was still in the army, 3 months in Louisiana where he was able to come see me 4 times before leaving for Korea for a year. It was awful while he was gone, but it only made our relationship stronger. $1,500 spent on phone cards will help you establish a great base of communication which is one of the things that helps our relationship stay strong.
Woo Hoo Kitzy!! Now that is MBCotD treatment!
Hope you've been enjoying a well deserved day, KelRel!
Kel, you're a darling, and I lurve you! You deserve this day!
Undi- I think I would want to be on Deal or No Deal. Its easy and the odds are pretty decent. I would say Jeopardy because I am great at it at home, but I have a feeling that I would freeze on the show.
Atrias, I love you too sweetie! I am so glad that we got to meet in December.
Oh I know, I was tripping out watching that one. I have been playing the online version all night. I still haven't won the million.
*sneaks away from boss long enough to give Kel a hug*
*hugs DD back* You give the BEST hugs. We need to get together again soon. I miss you!

Congratulations KelRel.
Thanks DP, I have thought about nominating Brendan for tomorrow. Do you think the honor is enough to bring him back to the living?
So Kel, how much younger are you than your husband?
BTW...You're doing a great job at all answering this barrage of random questions! Great practice for all your future teaching interviews....not to mention the random questions you'll get from kindergarteners and first graders! LOL! (Did I tell you all about the kindergarteners yesterday who were rhyming words for "Down by the Bay", and their first rhyme was "did you ever see a deer drinking a beer?" Never a dull moment with kindergarteners!
I am 4 years younger than my husband. Kids are great, I had an interesting rhyming incident the other day. Gotta love 'em.
Awww...Zeppy chimed in for you KelRel! All the teachers are coming out of the woodwork!
I feel so special today. You guys are all great!
Former teachers, too!
Glad you've had such a great day, Kel!

Did you do your homework for tomorrow?
I did my homework for the whole week and turned in assignments today that aren't due til next week. I was so excited to get my PC back that I did lots of work.

Cheers!
My kids have standardized tests next week, so one week with no homework!
Poor kids, make sure that they eat really good breakfasts before going to school.

Yes, and bring a snack.
They have me trained already, don't they?
Well I have to get up early for work so I am heading to bed. If you have more questions I would LOVE to answer them. Just post them and I will answer them when I get to work tomorrow. Until then I want to thank everyone again for their kind words, great questions, and suggestive posts and PMs *cough*papa*cough*. Good night, perhaps the new MBCotD will come to me in a dream.
So sorry I missed your day, Kel. Congratulations!!!
(I went out to dinner with some friends after work and just got home.)
You are going to make a wonderful teacher.
I have a feeling I will be meeting you very soon.
I'm very glad to see that you enjoyed your day Kel. Enjoy this morning also. Fun, isn't it!
