arrgh, thank you.......I finally am selected and and I am in NYC dealing with todays memorial service........and this is the only time I am on until I get back Sunday night. Maybe someone else should take over?

My biggest question is how did such an articulate poster manage to be the first person to register with the name Elphaba? Second question would be why did you choose that name? Were you being ironic?

you guys are going to make me cry........and since we are going through all of his mothers things I am already emotional.......I've got to sign off.....I'll try to sign on later to name a successor........looks like rain in NYC today.....wish it was better circumstances, would have been fun to do lunch

I might be projecting my own issues here, but today is anything but a fun day for Elphaba and his partner. And I'm just guessing that the first thing he'll want to do Sunday night when he gets back home will NOT be to answer a gazillion questions online. I'm thinking that being there for his partner will be paramount.

Perhaps hi should be given a rain check until he can enjoy his day as Celebrity at a more appropriate time.

I think that is probably true iflit.

Elphaba, do you have an idea for a successor?

Maybe we can hold the understanding that when you are ready you can pm the CotD that you would like the next day, then you can pass their pick on after you?

or we can select a new celeb in a different way: let Undi do it, or go back to the "3 names"

Elphaba was Undi's choice. I don't think that should change... I was going to suggest the same mechanism that Smartpenguin suggested...that Elphaba can slip back in for a day when he is ready.

I also think that since there was almost a tie yesterday, Shameless would make a fine CoD! She is the person who is most responsible for having set the course for this thread.
