Banal question that says (to me at least) at lot about you:
If you were an automobile, what automobile would you be and why?
Namo-so you're a Klaus Nomi fan-me too! have you seen that recent documentary on him? I had a couple of friends who sang backup with him for a while-Adrian and Joey.

Jane, yes, LOVED the documentary. Is Joey still with Cirque?
Last cd I bought was Jah Wobble's "Mu." Before that, Shakira's "Oral Fixation Vol 2!"
DD, I'd like to think I wouldn't be an automobile, but rather a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
One thing I hope to have more time to touch on later is that I do often forget that not everybody is familiar with my posting history, hasn't seen over time where I'm coming from, or what my POV is and therefore sometimes see my posts just as posts and aren't aware of the huge amount of "context." I think that's why I would make a lousy soap opera writer. I wouldn't be very good at writing for long-time viewers as well as new viewers, and would consequently turn new people off.
That happens here sometimes, I am sure.
Nam, I haven't run into Joey in years. These days I see him on tv and that's the only way I know what he's up to.
I'd like to add that I was on the old Bway.com board and even back then, you were one of the only posters I could totally relate to in almost every point of view you took. I was happy to see you here, and I still relate to you. I don't think you're that much of a mystery. Well, unless you count what your name is, where you're working and what you look like. Give me time-I'll find out!

"I don't think you're that much of a mystery."
I've got to second this thought. Unless cognition isn't your forte, I've never understood how people don't understand.
Namo reminds me of a priest I used to know (not THAT way) who always got chastised for the intellectual content of his homilies. He always responded (and I think he was actually quoting someone, but never found out for sure), "I don't aim where their heads are, I aim for where their heads ought to be."
Namo...well...there's not much I care to go into on the board. He's just very special.
And not special in a Riding the Bus with my Sister kind of way.
Yup, he's shlurpy all over!
He's two thumbs up.

But, you never know where his thumbs have been???
When I was lost....Namo tried to find me.
namo once ate my...homework.
My goodness - the day is almost over and I am late in posting!
To another beloved classic.....Remember him, Namo?
Where is all the Namo love?
Namo, I hope you enjoyed your day away from BWW, but I hope you let everyone know that you are celebrating this grand honor!
I'll ask the usual... What are your favorite movies, favorite food, favorite places to travel... Curious minds want to know!
Congratulations, Namo.
I know I share the majority of your opinions and always appreciate your intelligent discourse on topics. I'm not sure what else we have in common since, as someone else said earlier, you ARE a man, woman or small barnyard animal of mystery, but I'll take a shot:
Recently, at a work-related social event, I met, for the first time, the husband of someone with whom I have worked for several years. About an hour into the evening he said to me, "You are not at all what I expected you to be like...you're delightful!"
Something tells me you're like this, too. I mean that in a good way.
Keep on challenging and making people think! It's needed more than ever.
Namo...if you could interview 1 person (dead or alive) who would it be and what questions would you ask?
Namo, if you could spend a day with any poster who would it be, where would you go and what would you do?

Namo, congratulations on your special day! Whether we agree or disagree, I always learn something from you and you give me, frequently, a POV I've failed to consider. Thank you for that. A good brain-stretch never hurts!
Haven't had much time to be on the board for the last few days, so belated congrats to Beacon-1 and PalJoey! All the best!
At a young age I made a vow to myself. I would never have biological children, I would only adopt. Then I met Namo....
Yay Namo!
N, in celebration, I'm sending Patrick Warburton over with a bottle of baby oil. Use them both sparingly.
Namo--if you could show your gratitude to PalJoey for doing this to you, how would you go about doing that?

Namo,
If you had to be stuck on a desert island: what three things would you take with you?
