smartpenguin is a poster who I've only come into contact from posting in various threads. I've found his writing to be extremely intelligent, and humorous. And I believe intelligence should always be celebrated...

Plus it also keeps with one of the themes of getting to know other members who aren't necessarily within our "core" groups.

Did I mention the fact that I think he's extremely intelligent?

This is an absolutely fantastic choice!

sp78 and I have become very good friends on this forum and I can't think of a better or more deserving choice for MBCotD.

He was an excellent host/tourguide in New York City. You are the person who finally made me realize how much I was missing by not knowing Sweeney Todd!

Thanks for introducing me to the Seattle Cafe and all in all being my Broadway World Brother and putting up with my idiosyncrisies.

You are a wonderful friend, a wonderful Sunset and 42nd co-host and most of all a wonderful person!

Enjoy your day in the spotlight!
