If you could interview one person (dead or alive)....who would it be and what questions would you ask them?
I'll take the chocolate chip cookie Mominator- and I will love it.
Kringas- I like the "non- official" Machine songs more, but I still think it is a very strong album overall.
It is hard not to say TIDAL is my favorite album, it being the introduction and having several songs I just gush over, but I think I will go on the limb of saying WHEN THE PAWN... is my favorite overall.

I agree that the "non-offical" version was superior but, like you, I do think that both versions are amazing.

Yay! I love you, penguin. (As a friend, I swear.) You're always a celeb with me!
Oh boy down to the real questions!!
Favorite book when small.
Favorite TV show.
and Favorite spot for dinner
I would LOVE to go to Whistler, I am a snowboarding fiend.
*swoon*
SO... I have to ask... if you were a tree, what type of tree would you be and why?
Excellent questions all and I will answer the rest, but I think 4 hours is plenty to celebrate me, lets move on and start thinking of a new celeb to honor.
... this isn't going to work is it.

Stop being humble, you bastard, and answer questions!
I want to know when you first fell in love with Sondheim.
Oh yeah, and when you first suspected you might be straight.
You get a full day and you're going to like it, MR.

Rules are rules, penguin. And, heaven knows, we're a-feared of the law around these parts.

What wonderful questions and answers!
Thanks, smartpenguin for sharing all of this with us!
I'll give you a break and not ask another. But will take the moment to celebrate you! I always enjoy reading your posts and look forward to your participation in a discussion. Thank you for being such a wonderful presence on BWW!
Thanks again Addy, warm fuzzies abound.
Blast it.
Ok. I am working on the questions.
I have a question for you, Can you do my Greek translation for me, so I have more time for this?
I have a couple of questions.
1. What are you a little embarrased to admit is a guilty pleasure of yours?
2. Will anyone every fill the void of Her Mighty Shoshness at the Gershwin?

Yeah, it is confusing.
I'll change it to JT and Jenny.
Seeing it as I'm eating a fantastic wrap at the moment, I will ask a question in honor of my delicous lunch:
What is your favorite way to have tuna prepared? Straight out of the can? Tuna salad? In macaroni and cheese? The possibilites are truly endless.

Ew, in mac and cheese? I guess I'm a tuna purist.
*edited because I'm stupid*
I'm a mac and cheese purest, so I must cry foul on that one as well.
I prefer my Tuna au naturel.
Seriously. Get some Easy Mac, stir in some Starkiss...it's absolutely amazing. And easy. And CHEAP!!!

I love you, but I don't love your habits. Gross.
Anyway, back to the penguin love!

A breadcrumb crust is acceptable, but that's it.

From a fellow mac n cheese purist, a big congrats to smartpenguin78!
Yum, breadcrumbs. and thanks peach
Some more answers, I think I only skipped Boobs' question.
Mominator: Oh boy down to the real questions!!
Favorite book when small.
To Kill a Mockingbird- no question about it. Aticus Finch is still my hero.
Favorite TV show. Current- I am actually going to have to say LOST, the intensity they put into character development being the key. All Time- I must say the Mary Tyler Moore Show still does it for me.
and Favorite spot for dinner
A nice dinner at home is always grand, but a nice romantic dash of Italian at Orso when there is no “theatre rush” is HIGH on the list. As is the Last Resort, a fabulous restaurant in Athens, GA. Once again, it is not so much where I eat as who I am there with that matters.
DD: I have to ask... if you were a tree, what type of tree would you be and why?
First to your swooning, I do love some Snowboarding, there is no doubt!
I am a bit less than knowledgeable when it comes to trees. I would certainly want to be deciduous, the color change is fantastic and beautiful, and I like the idea of giving all those nutrients back to the soil. I also think a larger powerful tree is in order, just to be sure to withstand all the knocks of life. I think the wood itself would be important, as after life I would like to carry on in some way. I will go with a chestnut, a pretty tree, with a nice aroma, and beautiful wood.
SG: I want to know when you first fell in love with Sondheim.
Interestingly enough I am a late comer to both Sondheim and musical theatre, my intense desire to learn has made it seem I have been involved longer, it is not time but depth of devotion that I have given in spades.
Each of Sondheim’s scores worked their way into my being in a different way, and with each musicals themselves became a greater and greater part of my self identity.
I was first exposed to them, then became interested later, and finally obsessed.
Oh yeah, and when you first suspected you might be straight.
I was a bit of a “ladies man” as far back as I can remember, for whatever strange reason I was just compelled by women. Once I “came of age” so to speak, I really never had any doubt, my attraction is still overwhelming at times. A beautiful woman can destroy me with impunity.
Beacon: Question: What will your epitaph say?
”Only a Pawn in There Game”… well, I hope not.
Patty Reonus:
1. What are you a little embarrased to admit is a guilty pleasure of yours?
I am too embarrassed by my real guilty pleasures to reveal them here. Most of them involve being naughty.
2. Will anyone every fill the void of Her Mighty Shoshness at the Gershwin?
Not a bloody chance, unless they cast one of my cats.
