I saw that tequila! I instantly started having the DT's cause I haven't had a drop of alcohol since 11pm last night.
Nice job, Kringas.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Addy.
You bumped my anti-BM thread, so you're off the hook.
I saw a bottle of maple syrup. We could still play cowboy and flip some pancakes.
is flip the pancakes sexual slang?

Ok, Kringas - to give you the opportunity for some 'sharing', how's life as a gay man in the mid-west these days?

Knock yourselves out. Fun Fact - That water bottle actually belonged to Liz Phair. I swiped it from her at her concert.
Omigod. What if there IS no real Kringas?
What if Kringas is just the same bored fat 60-something queen who invented Feodor Sverdlov, ConvinceMe2 and Brendan?
You just reminded me to change my signature to a Liz Phair lyric.
Do you recommend Angel Soft? I've been a Scott fan for a while...but am always looking for suggestions.

Thanks for the pic, Sueleen. As I make a point never to go outside, it's interesting to see what I'd look like under that big thing people call "the sun."
To answer your question, DG - It has its ups and downs. St Louis has a fairly liberal bend, despite being enclosed by a red state. I'm not such a big fan of midwest living, period. I'm not from here originally, and returning here was a detour that's already gone on too long.
St Louisians (the natives) are a strange and insular bunch. The big question they always ask is "where'd you go to high school," so you can immediately be pigeonholed. If you're not from here originally, you'll never truly fit in, no matter how long you live here. As much of a pain as that can be, I am grateful for that, as it will make my eventual flee even easier.
The gay community is essentially a microcosm of the larger community. Insular, with a lot of misplaced arrogance, and tons of apathy. I almost never date anyone who is originally from St. Louis. Not that that's my restriction, but they natives don't seem to go for me. I'm not quite sure why that is, but when the rare man does approach me when I go out, he's almost always from some other place of birth.
I'm not sure if that quite answered your question, but there you go. And the tequila is really old. I rarely touch the stuff. I'm a vodka man.
I'm just trying to figure out what the syrup's for.
I think I know.
Kringas, you're dirty.

Answering robbiej's query - I tend to buy what's on sale. As long as it's relatively soft, I'm okay. I've never had any complaints with Angel Soft. At least none that were the fault of the bath tissue itself.
Is that a Wicked-green teapot or ice bucket you have there, Kringas?

The syrup is for waffles, bway. I've never really mixed food with lovin'.
Fun Fact About Me - I can't stand my hands to touch together when they're wet. It's akin to the feeling of nails on chalkboard. I always have to use a wash cloth when in the shower or while washing my hands.
And Cookie - It's a teapot that I found at a garage sale.
So Kringas how are you enjoying your day? Now that my coputer is limping along I can start buttering you... I mean I can continue singing your praises!! Want a cookie?

Congratulations, dear. It couldn't happen to a nicer --or hairier -- guy.

Glad your computer is up for buttering, mom. It's been quite pleasant. And since I have today off, this thread gives me a true excuse to sit by my computer today.
I called my best friend earlier and told him that I was named Celebrity of the Day. He replied, "I bet you're so excited you can hardly stand it."
So glad to hear it!! Nothing makes me madder than when this silly thing goes ka-plooey.
Kringas....your walls would look really nice with a splash of color...may I suggest Benjamin Moore "Scandanavian blue"...it has a hint of purple in it...but would really pop those bottles.

I pride myself on never having painted a wall in all of my 31 years. I can't start now.
Congrats Kringas!
I left work early because I feel like sh*t, but I don't want you to feel neglected.
If your house was on fire (a pleasant thought, I know), what would you grab on the way out?
besides, one can add color with accessories. Like that cool teapot. Which is perfectly Elphie-green, I might add..
I hope you're enjoying your day...and your maple syrup.
Have a great one, dear!
