Good question, shameless. Everything I own is pretty much replaceable, but I've had this guy since I was a baby, so I'd probably just grab him before I ran out the door.
My tiara, of course, would already be on my head, so that would be safe.

Krings, is the tiara insured? And does it have a history? Grand Duchess Olga's confirmation perhaps?
I'd sleep with 'im.

Jaily - do you have a cowboy hat? He's looking for a cowboy hat.
I, in fact, have two.
oh, oh... I have one.
It took me a while, but I found my picture from that
fishing trip with the guys...

Sueleen, it is not insured, as its value is strictly sentimental. It's origins, though, may be of interest.
The gentleman in the picture (who you see as Fiyero to my Elphaba in my One Night Wicked spectacular which, incidentally, has already become the stuff of legend) was married a few years ago another good friend of mine.
As I try to surround myself with people who are at least somewhat as odd as I, this lovely couple decided to eschew normal wedding conventions by not having a traditional ceremony. Instead, they commanded a performance of a play the bride's brother wrote. It was a fable about four princesses. I played one of the princesses. The tiara (and a sarong) was my costume. I had long curly hair at the time and the tiara looked quite lovely on me. The other three princesses were played by women who, oddly enough, were not nearly as concerned as I was as to whether or not we'd keep to keep our tiaras when the wedding was over.
Kringas, if my husband and I renew our vows will you come be a princess in our wedding? You can bring your own tiara our I will buy you a new one. I'll even get one for Pooh.

Kringas - that story just made my day! You are truly deserving.
Did the marriage last? I can't tell from the typo if you meant they were married for a few years or were married a few years ago. Where are the pictures of the wedding? We MUST see them.

I'm glad you found the pic, iflit! Wasn't that a great day. Remember how Brenden got drunk and sang "Without You" from My Fair Lady? He had such sass, that one.
Boys with cowboy hats, please contact me about a private viewing.
KelRel- I'll be happy to. A new tiara is always welcomed, but my original will do in a pinch.
DG - Thanks. That's very nice of you to say. This really was a nice surprise today. I echo iflit when she said yesterday, "Who knew that something as seemingly silly as a message board award could have so much ability to alter one's mood?"
Kringas,
Here you go: your very own cowboy hat tiara!

Sueleen - Thanks for alerting me to the typo. I just corrected it.
They are still happily married. I just saw them last weekend and offered him the role of Billy Flynn (to my Roxie Hart) for my next birthday spectacular.
I realized when I mentioned the wedding, you might want pics. I don't have any personally, but I'll see if I can track some down.
My sister just gave me that exact Pooh as a gift. If you've had it all your life, that means it might be a collectible!
Congratulations on the title!

Thanks, Jane. Yes, he is "classic Winnie," over thirty years old. The jacket isn't orginal, though. I made him that one about ten years ago.

wow! Did you copy the jacket from the original or did you make that one up? Mine has what looks like the same one on!
Folks, he even makes his own stuffed-animal outfits!
What a guy!

I know someone that used to play with silly putty and GI Joe in ways that were very creative - but that's not really the same thing, is it?

I copied it. I just used felt and a glue gun.
