WEX! WEX! WEX! WEX! hope he shows up !!
yeah, wanted to give him a shout out. we corresponded about restaurants in the lincoln center area and he sounded like a good chap.
Congrats WEXY. But... he still sounds like the name of a radio station.
Another great choice - most interesting for me so far, as this is the first Celeb whom I don't have much of a handle on as of yet.
I look forward to learning more about you, wexy, as you enjoy your reign!!
Congratulations WEXY!

Thanks Garland Grrl and everyone but where do I fill out this quetionairre.
midtown if you google 'wexy' you do get a radio station or two and some Spanish porn series amongst other weird stuff
bluemoon, the party was strange, walked in and there was Tom, hair a little thinner but looking well. He just said "hello" like I'd seen him the week before. He didn't introduce me to his kids though his wife was happy to see me, My other close friend at the time was also curt and my friend Marty said " I was thinking about you on 9/11 if you lived."
OK but there were a lot of shrimp with the cocktail sauce so I munched on shrimp and realized that I didn't miss these people at all.
the proust questionnaire is more like questions from the peanut gallery of your fans... so here goes:
where were you born?
what is your idea of perfect happiness?
and
when and where did you first fall in love with theater?
have a great day, shining star.

Yay! You're here - let the celebration begin!
First question: if you could do it all over again and money and ability were no obstacle, what would be your dream occupation?
LONG LIVE WEXY!

I was born in the middle of a snow storm two weeks premature in Brooklyn which pissed my parents off that they had to drag Mom to hospital in a blizzard. Born and raised in Brooklyn. Went to Hofstra University where after four years of frat life (Frat President) plus four years of drugs and alcohol managed to graduate with an economics which i really didn't use.
I got into my job by accident. I was taking a shower one day and while drying off, I put on the tv and saw an advertisement for taking the state civil service test. Took the test and eventually got my job evaluating disabilty claims for Social Security and in June it will be 25 years. Way scary.
It was through work that I got into the theatre. Being in the union we had access to TDF which going to the theatre affordable. I actually didn't see a play until I was 28 when two of the guys I work with invited me to see "Cuba and His Teddy Bear' they were looking forward to see Ralph Maccio, I got see DeNiro live on stage with Burt Young and I was hooked.
Since I didn't make it with the Yankees, I would love to write fiction which I do but have only written a few short stories though I did have two MetroDiary stories in the Times and write a column for a Yankee fan website during the season
Happiness? Good one. Probably to click with someone who share all my eclectic interests I'll be the theatre on Friday, a Blues concert in Central Park on Saturday, Yankee Stadium Sunday and a Hip Hop Party at the Brooklyn Museum on Monday.
And most of all, since I'm turning 50 to stay physically and mentally fit and be into all the cultural stuff going on where I can take my 15 yr old niece to see "The Killers" at Jones Beach and have all her friends envy her for having such a cool uncle.
Anything else before I do somework ? :)
I'll wait until WEXY has answered a few of the questions already posted before I jump on the bandwagon.
It looks like Wexy actually works, while at work. Just to recap.
Bluemoon asked, "If you could do it all over again and money and ability were no obstacle, what would be your dream occupation?"
Then Boobs asked, "What is your favorite food?"
And Moon added, "And who would you most like to dine with?"

Congratulations, Wexy!
Let me add my congrats in, too! I've never had the pleasure of really conversing with Wexy but it's quite fun getting to know you, getting to know all about you...
Have you ever gone to a Yankee game with liotte?

I love all ethnic foods and am willing to try new stuff but don't eat kangaroo cause its too gamey. I have to think about who I'd like to dine with.
Haven't been to a Yankee game with liotte yet but I have two tickets to every Sunday home game so an invitation is always open.
My first crush was on Peggy Lipton and my first real crush on my art teacher who broke my heart by getting married over Christmas vacation.
When I first subscribed to the Roundabout Theatre Singles series, I was asked "Which series do you want to join? The gay and lesbian or the straight one?"
"Let me think," I said and waited 30 seconds for dramatic effect before answering "Put me down for the straight one."
congrats :)
