A similar thing to senario #1 happened with DayDreamer, Rath and me in the East Village over the holidays.
Speaking of which, DayDreamer has asked an important question.
And no bi-sexual trees are involved.

Missy Elliot was quoted. I think Addy will be pleased with that...
Moonie: You mean, no bisexual trees were harmed that evening...

Back to the tree question.
Perhaps a sugar maple since I'm sweet and colorful.

Wexy is an interesting username. What is the origin of it?
What book are you currently reading?
What was the last movie you watched?
What's the last thing you saw at the theatre that you'd really recommend?
Congrats, BTW, from a former MBCotD!

I am truly loving this - the only thing I'm having to work at processing is the frat president thing, but that's really minor
Well-roundedness is a virtue too often dismissed, and to run across it is a real gift.
Welcome!

Vacations
The two favorites I've taken were to Australia and New Zealand with NZ being my favorite and my trip to Budapest, Vienna and Prague. Prague was amazing/
I'd still like to visit Scandanavia and there are places in the States and Canada that I'd like to visit.
The Frat thing was another life ago back in the long gone drinking and drug days. Just going by myself to see "Q" with one of those discounted email things. But I haven't seen "Wicked' yet.

"another life ago back in the long gone drinking and drug days"
I believe I can relate to that! There's a little part of me that has reservations about people I meet who didn't 'play' at some point in their lives. Not that it's a necessity, but I've always found it provides a perspective that is somewhat foreign to the straight-and-narrow.

Ok, enough with these softball questions. Let's bring on the pain! J/K

Influence- Probably my parents. My Dad survived Auschwitz, Dachau and the Flosenburg Death March and at almost 88 is a happy friendly guy whose experiences in life make any glitch or roadblock in my life minor in comparison and makes me realize that I can through those problems.
My Mom was a very sweet soul whose love or reading and the arts were a great gift to me. She left me this amazing book collection.

I remember you talking about your dad somewhere else, WEXY, and it humbles me all over again. It has to be an amazing perspective he's developed over his lifetime - and to come out a "happy friendly guy" is truly remarkable.
And your appreciation of him and your mom says a bit about you, as well.

He's part of the Shoah project that Steven Spielberg did,
Some people came to his house and did an interview that lasted several hours.
The one thing he did blow off as a survivor was religion.

Yes indeed your father sounds like an incredible person!
I do miss the carefree pot days, but I gave it up so long ago - 1987!
