I have something for Addy!
Is anyone surprised?
Addy dear, light a pink candle and gaze at a pink cocktail ... inspiration will come.
A pink pedicab would be just the thing, Cookie!
My ideal at home meal in the summer is a lobster-fest. Second place goes to something wonderful from the grill, served with all the delicious vegetables of the summer, followed by a refreshing sorbet and delicious fresh fruit.
My ideal at home meal in the winter is a roast leg of lamb, with all the trimmings...
Second place goes to a big bowl of pasta, cooked and shared lovingly with friends.
The restaurant question is a little tougher... I think it would involve champagne, foie gras, cheese, fondue, chocolate... just something simple along those lines.
Someone call a cab??
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
The pictures are all priceless!
Now, really, how can you not love the color pink?
And, I feel like every post I ever make is Addy 101... is there really anything left to know?
SOMMS - I have JUST the candle!
I had a question, but I already know your answer..I found it at www.corinescorner.com

DG, I could answer that question but this is Addy's day.
I believe he meant on the stage SOMMS....singing.
FANTASTIC choice! I full-heartedly agree
There are many here who could answer...
But, for me, it is a thrill which NEVER grows dim.
Whenever I set foot upon that stage I am not only moved by the sheer beauty of looking out at the hall, but I am filled with such a sense of history. Of all of the varied and moving and beautiful performances which have taken place upon that stage.
And, when the lights grow dim, and the music starts, and the sound that is the glory of the Hall begins to fill the space, it transports me to a place that is just pure joy.
Oh, and, my next concert is next Monday... Puccini.
(thanks for the opportunity to make a shameless plug...)

Since a lot of people know you much better than I do, and you’re looking for a way out of having to write your bio, which is perfectly fine , tell us something that you think we’d be surprised to know about you.
Addy,
A person that can always make the day brighter
An evening SO much more fun
And reading the board a positive experience
Here's to you on your day!
Not to mention, your eyes find Addy even when she's onstage in a chorus of hundreds...

Addy! Why did I not know that you've performed at CH? Clearly, I fail!
Btw, I miss you. We must get the gang together for drinks or lunch or something soon!
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
Boobs, that is some ride!
Shameless, you ask such interesting questions...
I'm kind of giggling because the joke about me is that I'm such a chatterbox that I end up telling people EVERYTHING. So... there's not much about me that my chums don't know.
But, something which you'd be surprised to know about me is that I once danced on the bar at Hogs and Heffers... and my bra is somewhere on the wall. Addy has a naughty side...
(At least I HOPE that surprises you...)

Hehe - Hogs and Heiffers. You are neither, but I love the story!
Here's another question - if someone from a small town told you that they just didn't get the appeal of living in NYC (noise, crime, polution, etc.), but agreed to give you one day and night to show them your side, what would you do with them?
Now, that's an awesome question!
Edit: Oh, and Addy, I'm shocked!
hmmm.... one day and night?
Well, in the interest of time I would not take them to a Broadway show or a Yankee game, though both would be part of what I would consider a perfect day...
I would share the serenity of a stroll through Central Park, including the gem of the zoo. I would introduce them to the glory of Rockefeller Center, and let them marvel at the view from the Top of the Rock. We would take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and stop to watch the boats floating slowly by. A trip to the medieval splendor of the Cloisters and a picnic in Fort Tryon Park... (with food samples from each of the wonderful ethnic neighborhoods found in NYC). A glass of champagne in the Rainbow Room, a ferry ride by the Statue of Liberty, a visit to Lincoln Center lit up at night, and... in the morning... breakfast at Tiffany's.
That would be a start.
