I've just decided I'm going to marry him. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not.
What do y'all think of this gorgeous and talented Canadian crooner?
LOVE HIM!!!!! I have his original cd, his live cd/dvd and his new cd.
He's Canadian? I think he's fabulous, so I'll grant him that one flaw.

I love his voice. He is such a cutie, and I just eat up the fact that he was raised on the good stuff. I would love to see him in concert.
I find him only slightly less boring a vocalist than Josh Groban.
Buble is more ecru to Groban's beige.

Eeee! I love him. Gorgeous voice, and not bad to look at, either.
Funny story time (I think it's funny, if not kind of sad). My friend went to a music store to buy his first CD for her brother. It wasn't on any of the shelves or anything, so she went to the desk to ask about it.
"Do you guys have Michael Bublé's CD?" "Who?" "Michael. Bublé." "Can you spell that for me?" "B-U-B-L-E" "OH! Michael Bubble... Yes. Let me get that for you."
PS: He's going to be on Jay Leno next week. Tuesday, the 8th!
You know I'm teasing, you spilling starlet, right? I mean eh?
In other fabulous news, the City of Rochester bought the Spirit of Ontario (fast ferry) and will resume daily 2 hour crossings to YYZ by May. I will be enjoying your fabulous country more than ever!
He's got an okay voice. Nice style, but nothing special. The way I see it, we only need one Frank Sinatra.

DAME, he's straight.
He's engaged. To a girl.
I cried.
But his fiance doesn't like all the fame.
So there's still hope.
Oh yes, there will only be ONE Frank "the man" Sinatra but this is a close second. My favorite songs of his are those that are upbeat. He puts a lot of energy into and I think it fits his voice better.

I just enjoy the sound. It's not charisma or lack thereof that makes me buy a CD. :)
Buble and Moranis. Woo Hoo!
spider-
I'll agree to that. For some reason, he sounds much better when singing original material.

I like his version of "Come Fly With Me" - and I LOVE "Sway"!
JID, I think you should marry him.
And I think you should let me plan the party!

One perfect pink party coming up!
I've posted with regard to Michael Buble before - after I saw him in concert last year. He has a wonderful presence in concert and truly enjoys himself onstage. The audience was a mix of all types of folks of all ages. During that show, Michael sang most of the songs from his first CD plus a few others like "Beyond The Sea" (Bobby Darin was his favorite singer), "This Guy's In Love With You", and "Rainbow Connection". Funny that none of those 3 made it onto his new disc. He mentioned that his Grandfather was the person who encouraged him to sing - and he started singing in a local jazz bar that Grandpa - a plumber - took him to. He said that he is eternally grateful to his Grandfather for his support. Michael dedicated "That's All", which he considers the most 'romantic' song of all time to his Grandfather.
Yes, there was only one Sinatra, but he is gone and only lives on in our memories and on disc and moviereels. I saw Sinatra in concert in his waning years and even though he lost a few steps, it was great seeing a legend in concert. Michael Buble is here now - and only at the beginning of his career - and is making the kind of music that links the generations together. Young folks can get introduced to this style of music if they so choose - as Buble's Grandfather introduced it to him - and older folks can take a trip down memory lane with a great crooner of a newer generation. I think MB has a long and successful career ahead of him!
agreed, junglered
