You continue to answer a question with a question.

I don't have the ability to know what was going on in Michael J. Fox's mind when he tapped this ad perhaps you do, but I doubt it. I do know that, this disease is not turned on and off by a pill, in the ABC interview he goes into a lot of detail about the symptoms and how the medication affects him.

Has it ever entered your mind, that this is how Michael J. Fox has to live his life every single day. Frankly I'm all for what he did, why hide it? It's his life and if he chooses to be brave enough to show the rest of us what it's like to live with this disease, then more power to him.

Why don't you view the video in the link below and tell me if you think he's acting or over-medicated.

But, more to the point, just give me one shred of hard evidence that would prove your statement that he purposely over-medicated himself when he shot the ad. Being over-medicated and doing it on purpose for affect are two different things.

Here's some of the text from the ABC interview with Fox.

Fox talking about his medications.

"Stephanopoulos: Or Greek moms.

How does it work? You know, you take the medication. How do you know when you're going to be more in control or more out?

Fox: The thing is that, you know — again, I've been diagnosed for 15 years, which means I probably have had the disease for 18, 19 years. They say by the time you show symptoms that 80 percent of the dopamine-producing cells in your brain are gone.

So, for example, when I first disclosed I had, it was after keeping it secret for seven years. I disclosed it partly because there was going to be no hiding it anymore pretty soon. And for all those years, I'd masked it with medication.

But then what happens is the medication, after all, loses its efficacy and what happens is, in order to get the benefits from it, which is increased mobility, less tremor, you start to get what's called dyskinesia, which is this movement. And it's preferable in a way to the other—

Stephanopoulos: Right.

Fox: … Because you have, without it at this point, this way: If I didn't medicate it at all, I'd have a masked face, I'd have very limited movement, I'd have a very difficult time speaking, a la Mohammed Ali or similar. So if I want to be articulate, if I want to speak, this comes with the package. So—

Stephanopoulos: That's the tradeoff.

Fox: That's the tradeoff.

So I either sound good or look good.

(LAUGHTER)

I don't get the whole package.

You know, it's a constant balancing act, and there are things to go with it. Sitting still in a chair and being involved in an interrogatory, no matter how friendly or unfriendly or whatever, just the stress that it takes to be focused and to get the words together, you know, increases the motion.

It's just something to get used to. The thing that's strange about it is when you're live with it every day, and then to have someone outside give you a review on it.

Why did he stay on the set when he knew he was over-medicated?

Why would he and the dems want such exeggerations?

Fox admits that he doesnt know the content of the Missouri Bill!

This is a huge scandal!!

Fox: Well, I don't think that's true. You know, I campaigned for Claire McCaskill. And so I have to qualify it by saying I'm not qualified to speak on the page-to-page content of the initiative. Although, I am quite sure that I'll agree with it in spirit, I don't know, I— On full disclosure, I haven't read it, and that's why I didn't put myself up for it distinctly.
MJ Fox doesn't even know what the bill says!!!!

At least Fox admits things...which is far more than you're able or willing to do. And how can it be a huge scandal, when he truthfully answers a question on a national news program. Your idea of a scandal is very different from mine. I find it more scandalous to be told by the President of the United States that we're entering a war because Iraq was harboring WMD's and was a threat to our national security, when there wasn't and has never been any proof that these WMD's existed.

As to your question about over-medication. I have no idea if he was over-medicated or not. I don't presume to know the things that you assume are fact.

I do know that you have yet to give any proof that he purposely over-medicated.

ShakinBakin must provide proof that
A) he was over-medicated
B) he over-medicated himself on purpose

so far his only source is Rush, a person who HAS purposefully over-medicated himself time & again.

I just viewed the Fox ad for Claire McCaskill again. No where in that ad does he come out in support for the bill in question. What he does do is offer his support for Ms. McCaskill who is running for office and is a proponent of ESR.

So, in retrospect, I'd say that his not knowing the entire content of the bill is not a scandal. I seriously doubt that anyone who endorses a candidate knows all the in and outs of all the legislation that his candidate of choice supports.

We're now in DAY 3 and still waiting for Dakin to offer up the proof that Michael J. Fox purposely over medicated. Still nothing but empty rhetoric, dodging and weaving, deflection and stalling. Everything, but a straight answer. Could it be he has no proof?

Just another example of an honest Republican who wants to turn his own conjecture into fact, and then when he's asked for proof, becomes silent. Good work, Dakin you're a credit to your party, and a fine example of what the Republicans stand for. Oh, by the way...found any WMD's lately?

While JustaGuy and Fakin/Namo worry about proving that Fox obviously over-medicated himself, the rest of the WORLD has it all figured out: Fox wanted to be in bad shape for the ad. After all, he is an actor, and he is not literate to read the Missouri Bill and find out that it's a clonging bill.

More diversion from the issue, very much like the rest of the Republicans who, want everyone to believe what they say, without having the facts or proof to back up their talking points.

Dakin, your a fraud, plain and simple...for 3 days now you've been asked to supply the proof for your assertions that Michael J. Fox purposely over-medicated himself. For 3 days you've done nothing but, try and skirt the issue. You're not man enough to admit, you don't have the proof. You try your best to put your words and thoughts into the mouths of others, but it's not working.

I really wouldn't go after anyone's literacy when you seem to have a few problems with your spelling.
