Have you found that quote to substantiate you claim that Michael Fox purposely over-medicated?
Still waiting for the facts. It's been a few days now, I guess you've forgotten about it. Or, perhaps there aren't any?
Come on Dakin, you're all about truth and honesty. Show us your source, give us some good ole Republican truth, if you can.
Why would he appear on camera over-medicated if it were not on purpose?
Someone with his wealth and resources doesn't have any choice about such things? Please.
Also, Fox himself raised the issue of over-medicating.
Thrust and parry all you want. You simply don't have the facts to back up your argument. If you did, I know that you would gleefully be posting them...
You accused Michael J. Fox of over-medicating on purpose. But, you having nothing to back it up, so you try to deflect by changing the subject. It just isn't going to work. Come-on Mr. Honest Republican, show me the facts, let me see the quote. Or at least admit that you don't have any proof.
This is the Fox quote:
"I just take it and it kicks in when it kicks in. Sometimes it kicks in too hard and then you get what's called dyskinesia, which is that rocking motion."
I see nowhere in that quote where he says that he took a higher dose on purpose. If you have proof to the contrary, offer it up.
Here's a link to Michael J. Fox's interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC's THIS WEEK. It's a fairly long article, and Fox goes into detail about his illness, side effects of taking the drugs and his reasoning for doing the commercial.
But again, no-where does he admit over-medicating on purpose.
FOX INTERVIEW
Anyone who has had a family member suffer with the disease and eventually die from it, was shocked and appalled by the goings on of Rush. MJF was not overacting. He has no control over his tremors. I hate people who make fun of other people's illnesses. Rush is a real a-hole and should be ashamed of himself. Unless, it hits home, he can't understand the depths of suffering you go through. Yes, my father suffered and died from it.
He was claerly over medicated by his own admission.
Imagine in America that somone joins a very partisan political debate in a political acting stunt, someone calls them on it, and the free speech crowd tries to shout them down.
Sounds like PRAVDA to me.
Until the words "I over-medicated myself" comes out of his mouth, it is hearsay. I mean, you entitled to your opinion based on observation, but until it is proven . . . it is just an observation.
Yes, well, why did he choose to appear while over medicated? Perhaps for over dramatic effect? hmm?
"Yes, well, why did he choose to appear while over medicated?"
Again, as I have stated, until he says that he was, in fact, over medicated, then it is just hearsay!

Chanti makes the exceedingly dubious claim that he "read" Fox's book. And Chanti claims that in the book Fox says that's a strategy he had employed in the past to show people the actual affects of Parkinson's on the human body.
What Chanti has yet to address is the number of previous election cycles in which Fox has urged people to vote for Republicans without such a backwards anti-science view of the world, like Arlen Spector, for one.
We can assume that the Republican Talking Points Borg has not been able to assimilate that information yet.
First of all, you now know for certain that it is not Chanti-just admit it and save yourself any further embarrassment. (Ring Ring!!) Ha ha ha ha (it's an inside joke ask Namo for an explanation of his threats and stalking)
There is no backward view of science, we all support research, just not human cloning.
I wonder if Michael wants to take back his false ad?

"humna [sic] cloning?" What's that, the Ralph Kramden School of Scientific Research?
What's it like to be "self-demoted" from BWW's J. Edgar Hoover to slum lord linguist?
All you do is try and skirt your way around the issue. You don't have the proof you need that Fox over medicated on purpose. Just say it... it's not that hard.
You want Namo to admit your not Chanti, but you can't even admit you have no proof of your accusations against Fox.
Your use of the lame line of being shouted down by the free speech crowd is nothing more than an effort to distract from the question at hand. Where's the proof Dakin. Where's the proof?
You are the fraud, you make accusations without anything to back them up other than your own wishful thinking, and then when you get called on it, you whimper that you're being shouted down by the free speech crowd. NO one is shouting here, I'm just asking for some proof.
Someone needs to admit that I'm not Chanti now that he embarrassed himself trying to play J. Edgar Hoover and was outed by the real thing!
Ring ring playdough.
Ha Ha Ha
Someone also needs to admit, that he has no proof to support his claim that Michael J. Fox purposely over-medicated himself.
But, instead he chooses to dodge the issue. Come on Dakin, give us the proof. Your great at spouting off wild claims, hearsay and rumor, but not so good at coming up with the facts that might back up your claims. Sort of like looking for WMD's in Iraq. We were all told that they were there, but somehow no one can seem to find them.
You really support Fox and his over acting on that ad?
My problem is that if Fox appeared in a simialr ad for the GOP, the other side would be crying foul & screaming like stuck pigs. This is my only beef. Again I truly believe what happened to him & he thought he was doing the right thing by appearing in the ad.In his place,I might have done the same thing
Much like John Edwards saying he would get Chris Reeve to walk -knowing full well he was full of it before he said it. He is an attorney famous for doing medical malpractice cases so I am not surprised there
Actually, yes. I do support the research and I do support Fox. I answered your question now you answer mine.
Where's the proof that Michael J. Fox purposely over medicated?
Come on Dakin...don't be a lamer. Just admit that you don't have the proof. It will save a lot of band-width and it will at least show that you can admit that you were wrong. Unlike our current leader who wouldn't change a thing.
He had to have known that he was over-medicated when they were taping.
Why did he go ahead with it?
You're still not answering the question. Where's your proof that he purposely over-medicated. You spoke with such authority when you first started posting on this subject. And now, you dodge and weave when someone ask for proof to back up your statements.
Seems to me if you had the proof, you'd have offered it up two days ago. But, instead you deflect.
Be the honest Republican that you claim to be and offer proof or simply state you don't have it. The truth will set you free.
By his own admission, he only shows those symptoms when he is over-medicated, so he knew he was over-medicated.
Why did he go ahead with the ad?
I AGREEE HE IS FAKING IT BECAUSE HE WANTED TO GET OUT OF THAT CONTRACT WITH SPUN CITY SHOW.
HE AUGHT BE ASHAMED OF HISSELF PLAYING POLITICS WITH OTHER PEOPLES HOIPES./
