She wasn't trolling for sex in the compilation of tweets that Miley posted - she was appealing for a psychiatrist, because she was "unwell and in danger". Posting those tweets as a counter-argument to Sinead's original open letter is just indefensible - though you're trying your best.

Okay, do you see how crazy the crazy bar is set in discussing this? Sinead was "tweeting for a psychiatrist". She was tweeting for a psychiatrist!!!If Sinead had an ounce of understanding about herself, she might have started her phony "motherly concern" treatise with something like "I'm probably the last person who should be offering anybody advice," but she didn't. For somebody so self-obsessed she's shockingly un-self-aware. Miley's cohort speaks in the language of irony, Sinead's open letter is the definition of irony (as in, it's the opposite of what it says it is) and the tweets point out the irony of somebody with Sinead's level of public mental illness offering anybody advice on anything. How does she have so much time to write to Cyrus? She's very busy raising three children, dontchya know.
"For somebody so self-obsessed she's shockingly un-self-aware."
This is key, I think. In my life (and on this board), the most self-obsessed, not to say narcissistic, folks seem not to have the slightest self-awareness.
I don't think there's ever been any connection between narcissism and self-awareness.
As a matter of fact, I think they're actually antonyms.

Antonym Scalia is a TOTAL narcissist!
So the current controversies are:
Miley Cyrus Refuses Career Advice from '70-Year-Old Jewish Man'
When talking about her new image and the new direction of her music, Cyrus told the site, "With magazines, with movies, it's always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they're driven by people that are like 40 years too old."
Cyrus was referring to the cautious response from record executives to the idea of "We Can't Stop."
Next, she added, "It can't be like this 70 year old Jewish man that doesn't leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear. I'm going out, I know what they want to hear."
Cyrus' rep has not returned a request for comment, but the singer has been outspoken her focus on selling records, so causing controversy is nothing new.

One Of Miley Cyrus’ Little-Person Backup Dancers Calls Her Out
One of the backup dancers in Miley Cyrus' VMAs performance wrote about being a little person and how the gig made her "feel less than human." Her whole essay is worth a read, but here's a taste:
I had never been in a performance where I was purely meant to be gawked or laughed at. I will never forget that performance because it is what forced me to draw my personal line in the sand. After our first dress rehearsal in the costumes with the crew, publicists, performers etc watching us, I walked out of the Barclay Center shaking and crying. Thankfully, my best friends, Kelly and Kerri, happened to be NYC to visit me. They were waiting for me and I walked up to them and broke down. I love being the center of attention, but that was something different. I was being stared and laughed at for all of the wrong reasons. I was being looked at as a prop…as something less than human."

And how's that working for you so far, Miley? I'd say pretty damn well.
