I agree. Ron Perlman was spot-on, and the movie started out well enough, but it was a pretty terrible movie.
Now, when's it gonna be Buick 8 and Bag of Bones's turn?

"1408" is from "Everything's Eventual", right? About that crazy evil hotel room?
God, that's gonna be GOOOOOOOOOOD.
(I have to confess that the powers the boy has in "Everything's Eventual", the titular story, are a fantasy I've had ever since I was a child. I've always wanted to wake up and be like Dinky...)

Posted: 5/22/07 at 1:02pmThey are also making a big budget version of The Mist. I'm not sure what collection that's on though.

Posted: 5/22/07 at 6:17pmA composer or lyricist friend of mine wrote, with his partner, the first act of a musical version of MISERY, but stopped work when they discovered the stage rights were already owned by some London producer who did it as a non-musical with Sharon Gless. He let me hear both the act 1 demo and two songs they got Terrence Mann to record for them. It was interesting. It would've been fun to see where the project would've ended up had they been able to complete it.

Posted: 5/22/07 at 6:19pmPS Bette said she turned the role down because she didn't think her fans would like the image of her cutting off a guys foot. If it had been his c*@k, she might have reconsidered. I heard her say all this on (OY) the ARSENIO HALL SHOW! (wow, am I old!)
