You delete everything written about her immediately and delete anything she writes that portrays her in a negative light after she's called out on her stupidity. Does she have naked pictures of your mothers?

And please tell on me to Rob. I'd love to get his side of this.

Personal attacks are deleted of all sorts, as they're reported or as we catch them. As our rules state "Please post with courtesy (and common sense) - no use of profanity, obscenities, or name calling. No personal attacks - we all have different opinions - disagree with the view, not with the person."

Except that's not always true.

Posts are deleted at absolute random here. Posts with no personal attacks of any kind or profanity or name calling are deleted when referencing not only the worst troll problem this site has ever had, but in threads in general. With absolutely no reason given.

But Rob, wouldn't you get tired of constantly deleting posts written to her? I mean, every day there must be posters making posts she wants deleted. Isn't that over and above your call of duty? Isn't it an annoyance to you? And further, wouldn't a poster here be suspended or at least put on hiatus for a while because of all the trouble they've caused? Sincere question, Rob.

This site makes it's money off selling advertising so if Sue generates page views she puts money in Rob's pocket. I'm to the point I don't don't really care to do that any more- be sure to hold her custom, for you'll have none of mine.

I've made several complaints via the "report abuse" function but have never seen any results.

I'm pretty sure her homophobic remarks, such as saying I'm not "a real man," calling posters here "bitter queens," and accusing FindingNamo of pedophilia ("hunting for young boys on the internet") are still here.

In all seriousness, may I suggest utilizing the block feature so that you aren't bothered by posts from people you're eager to avoid? It does wonders for the blood pressure.

As always, any questions you have about why something has been removed, you're more than welcome to write me, or my mod team about, but attacking someone, and chasing their every post violates our rules. And on the flip side, if someone is doing something that you think we missed, let me and/or my team know.

Traffic and page views have nothing to do with our moderation.

I agree, Roscoe. I'm talking about old posts.

But also, the posts are clearly visible unless the blockee started the thread. If you don't want to see them, you have to let someone else post in the meanwhile. So you're still forced to deal with someone you've blocked.

Agreed, Roscoe, but I think it's fair to demand a response from the (usually) silent Mods -- with the exception of Rob. And as you can see, his response was less than helpful or enlightening. A regurgitation of the rules without addressing the issue of Trolling on BWW? But of course. I'm not surprised.

Fair enough, folks. It does seem fair to ask exactly what one has to do to get banned for life from the site, exactly how many complaints and offensive posts have to pile up before the mods step in and say, "you're muzzled for good."

Sure, Rob. I appreciate that. I just have to wonder how people like Master Bates and "SueStorm" get away with SO much on here. Truly you and your team can identify a bonafide Troll and should have every right to ban that poster in question as it's your site; a website that you own (unless you have angel investors with share in it?)

Why don't you just use the Ignore User feature on those who are bothering you?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Elaine/Nomdeplume/Suestorm will use this as an example of me trying to get her banned. So I just want to say right now that my reason for starting this thread was to find out why certain posts are deleted and others are not. It has nothing to do with Elaine/Nomdeplume/Suestorm getting banned. Because if she was, she would be back tomorrow with a new screen name. God knows how many more she already has.

Report Abuse goes to whatever mod is on at the time, but all of us being human and fallible, if you think we're missing something horrific, my virtual door is always open. Hearing from multiple board members is what resulted in me bringing back the 'Ignore User' function which I didn't know was being missed, and if there's something else I'm missing, hit me with links.

Yes. I think we want to know why certain non abusive posts are being deleted. It's obvious when mods "play favorites" around here with their "delete button powers". But understand that it's also very odd to many of us here how "on top of their game" they are when it comes to Suestorm/Elaine/Nomdeplume and deleting posts that don't flower her with the love she thinks she deserves.

And we all know Elaine is loving this. There's no point in arguing that it's totally feeding the troll. But why BWW protects this troll is a question that I think we should have an answer to, even though we'll never get one.

I, too, would suggest to Rob that the very people BWW employs to control the chaos are actually allowing it to happen by protecting certain posters (or, rather, trolls) for reasons unknown. It would be great for Rob to post a public response to this issue.
