Yes! I think that's the one where it takes Davis about a minute just to walk across the room to beat up Hopkins. I love it.
Did I see one not too long ago where one takes the other ones daughter because she was born out of wedlock?

Old Maid is another Hopkins one...the film where Davis adopts an "orphan" (her own illegitimate child) and goes to live with Hopkins. Of course...Hopkins believes she could raise the child better and takes over and adopts her from Davis.
Davis is forced to remain in the house with Hopkins raising her daughter and her own daughter hates her and refers to her as "old aunt Charlotte".
And, of course....she takes the abuse the entire film.

Glebb! I just remembered one I love...the "All this and Heaven, too" movie where she plays a nanny to Charles Boyer's kids. He has a bitch crazy wife who is obviously bi polar. I think it ends with the wife's death and a trial, but guess who played one of the kids?
yes....Miss Virginia Wiedler.

Jose, are you looking for an answer to the "Tomata soup" quote?
It came from a movie Bette did in the early 70's when she was old and her career was over. It was called "Bunny O'Hare"
Bette Davis and Ernest Borgnine play senior citizens who are both in need of money. They meet, become friends and start robbing banks dressed as hippies. It's a geriatric Bonnie and Clyde story filled with the anti establishment attitudes of the day. It's extremely rare to be able to see it.

Right. Thanks, O.
I recall the film.
I'm happy to say I never saw it.
Davis and Merman...one degree of separation.

Or out in the Aleutians
Or off among the Roosh-ans.
And flying over Egypt
your heart will never be-gypt.
And when ya get ta India
I'll still be what I been-ta-ya....

Imagine coming face to face with that. :)
I always giggle and sometimes outright go into heaves of laughter when I picture Jane Hudson standing outside Blanche's bedroom, covering her mouth and laughing.
