re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

I don't think so. I think someone would have posted them if they are.

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

What'd ya think? I thoroughly enjoyed the guy from Northwestern's performance. Fit him vocally and he seemed to be having a good time with it. Glad they ended up picking "All I Care About is Love" over "Razzle Dazzle" That had been the other choice early on but I'm glad they picked what they did...he was very good! re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

Kate was entertaining and I loved the subtle eye momvements at the beginning. Vocally she sounded really good. She's got an impressive range, I prefer her belt over her legit voice but she can soar notes to the rafters. :-P I was not sure about her as Velma at first but after watching it a couple times I feel she did really well. Tomorrow is Wedding Singer, Thursday is Hairspray and Friday off to Ave. Q. re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

I thought the guy was MUCH better than the girl. He could have kept singing an it would have been FINE with me.

Was yesterday the WICKED day? If so, what did they sing and how was it?

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

No, yesterday was the RENT day. The girl sang "Take Me or Leave Me" and the guy sang "What You Own"

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

I can't decide if I can even vote.

I need them all to sing on the same day right after one another.

As for today...the girl seemed really nervous...I think her eye movements were out of nerves.

I can't decide if I liked the way they has their own take on the song. I'm all for subtle changes but there were points I was like "Do they know the melody?"

Hmm...that is weird. When I posted that link yesterday, it was a different page and you could watch the actual performances...I wonder where they went?

GO U NU!

I thought Sean from Northwestern did a great job. I also liked Courtney, the young lady who sang yesterday.

They must be doing the video day to day. There is a link on the CBS Early Show page for today's contestants.

Didn't like the girl today at all. I thought the guy was good, though. I can't decide whether to tape this or Idina tomorrow.

Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

Actually, I'm disagreeing. I think the guy today did quite well. He had a really pure tone to his voice and did great with that awful song. Let's be honest, that song doesn't allow anyone to show off any range. As for the girls, yesterday's girl who sang 'All That Jazz' was absolutely amazing. She had real stage presence, diversity to her voice, and completely blew me away. I'm working with a woman who sounds very similar to her and she doing very well for herself. Can't wait to see the performers tomorrow.

re: 'My Broadway Debut' on CBS

Renthead, how can you possibly think that the girl today was better than the guy? She forgot the words to the song and stood there with dead air for a LONG time! Yikes. When you have an opportunity like this, and you don't even need to learn the entire song, there's just no excuse for forgetting the lyrics.
