And I'm PISSED. We live in F*CKing Hell's Kitchen where there's more gays than straights so when this happens (especially to someone I care about) I want blood.
He was able to get away and besides being really roughed up he's ok (physically). But my point of posting this is really to just say to everyone out there - "Be Careful". I don't want anyone to have to go through that and have to live with being violated in that way. This shlt is still happening and it's not just something that can happen to anyone but you. So please please please be careful, guys.

What exactly happened? Verbal or Physical or both? Sometimes when I'm walking outside the bldgs, these various assholes, drunks, xenophobes, etc. start screaming epithets for no apparent reason, so I know what you're talking about. So freaking disgraceful. (oh, btw, our bldg. "security" does nothing about this **** when it happens, too - even inside the bldgs)

And Tiny, we both live on the same street so you know we have "straight" bars on either side of us.

I'm so sorry this happened to your roommate and that he's banged up. But, also, I'm glad that he survived the attack.
I don't suppose he was able to get a good look at them.
