And I'm PISSED. We live in F*CKing Hell's Kitchen where there's more gays than straights so when this happens (especially to someone I care about) I want blood.

He was able to get away and besides being really roughed up he's ok (physically). But my point of posting this is really to just say to everyone out there - "Be Careful". I don't want anyone to have to go through that and have to live with being violated in that way. This shlt is still happening and it's not just something that can happen to anyone but you. So please please please be careful, guys.

What exactly happened? Verbal or Physical or both? Sometimes when I'm walking outside the bldgs, these various assholes, drunks, xenophobes, etc. start screaming epithets for no apparent reason, so I know what you're talking about. So freaking disgraceful. (oh, btw, our bldg. "security" does nothing about this **** when it happens, too - even inside the bldgs)

Sorry to hear that Mr, i do hope he is OK, it's a horrible thing to happen, i went through an awful attack quite a few years ago that left me in hospital for over a week. Tell him to stay strong and not let the f*****s shake him x

I'm so sorry this happened to your roommate and that he's banged up. But, also, I'm glad that he survived the attack.

I don't suppose he was able to get a good look at them.

Dont let a certain poster get to you Jordan. It's NEVER worth the effort.

All the best for your roommate, and I concur that he must speak up and be heard. It will help his inner healing, and hopefully help someone in the future.

This is so awful. Many of us on the board (and many other gay people) live in this neighborhood and it's awful to think something so bad can happen close to home. But of course it can.
