The world is changing and it scares these people to death. They see polls and see the majority supporting marriage equality and they feel as they no longer have control. The church tells you who to vote for, what issues to stand by and who the 'good guys' are vs. the 'bad guys'. This Mitt Romney supporter is just like other "men of God with moral family values'.

People are no longer doing what the church tells them to do and they are becoming frustrated and desperate and will say anything to vent their anger.

Oh, I agree one hundred percent. The church has NO PLACE telling you how to vote. I remember John Kerry being denied communion during the 2004 elections. The church practices hate then appear surprised when you call them out on it.
