I can't stand Zooey Dachanelle so I will not be watching this.

I'll give it a few more episodes, but the pilot was just not funny.
Caught the pilot On Demand, and was very disappointed. I was looking forward to this show.

I was prepared to hate it after watching the trailer. But I liked the pilot. I liked the dbag jar, and how the tone did not totally surrender to obnoxiousness. I'm just not sure how they can work the premise into a long-running series.

Taylor Swift to guest on 'New Girl' season finale
I've loved this show since day one. This weeks episode was really great with the always fantastic Margo Martindale guest starring.
Heh, I didn't even know there was a thread on this show. I love it. Margo was definitely a treat this past episode. "She's Spanish!"
This is one of my favorite shows. Such a great cast, and all their guest stars always nail it.
Surprised to read some of the first posts in this thread from over a year ago!
Love this show. It occasionally misses the mark. But for the most part it's LOL funny.
Oh my God, when they go to buy crack, I thought I would piss my pants laughing.
I love this show--but more than other shows I love it seems to really vary episode to episode for me. I thought late last year and much of this year they found a balance between the cutesy/silly and the more serious aspects, that the last few episodes have lost me a bit with. My only real complaint is they still feel at a bit of a loss as to what exactly do with Winston--he's great at the physical stuff particularly, but often his storyline seems to be very random (ie suddenly he can't stop singing Wicked songs) and/or not interconnected enough with the rest of the group.

Actually, I like those storylines that reveal that deep down inside, Winston is just like Jess. Or at least has a lot of the same life preferences - singing, bubble baths, etc. But yeah, it's true the show still hasn't quite figured him out. He's been a good friend to Schmidt these past couple of episodes, but when is somebody going to be a good friend to him?
Actually I like that aspect too. I think it's more that his stories seem to be so seperate--some of this may be on purpose, like when he was trying to find a condom for the entire episode, but.

Zooey Deschanel is just a bit too much. She has the "over the top" acting ability of Carol Burnett but she can't make it work like Carol did.
Carol Burnett playing Eunice could really go "over the top" and we would laugh along. Zooey goes "over the top" and you think "Poor girl has no talent."
I dislike when people attribute their opinions to everyone else.

I finally gave up on the show last season. I just didn't like any of the characters. I found Zooey's character quite embarrassingly pathetic, always whining and more concerned with being quirky than fixing whatever she's whining about.
