Oh, I did, too. I'm Bravo's bitch. That show really was awful, though. A welfare version of Runway. How the hell is Kelly Rowland a fashion expert anyway? I loved the episode where she got all bent out of shape and felt "personally insulted" that Angel didn't know much about hip-hop fashion.

I loved The Fashion Show. I don't know how much Kelly Rowland knows about fashion, but she has more charisma that Heidi Klum! And at least has a talent, which is singing.
But let's go back to NYC Prep!
"Good luck with your application, although you probably won't get accepted" *leaves while laughing at them*

I learned to hate that bitchy knowitall Mizrahi. He was both mean and unhelpful to those struggling designers. There was very little nurturing which is what helps humanize these shows. Kelly was such a sad waste of space! I loved deliberations when the other designers would actually debate, and she'd say something stupid like..."I liked it!"
Her "You are hangin' by a thadared." drove me insane! As did his "bye bye darling."
Worst kiss off since "See ya later decorator!"
I did like Fern Mallis tho.

Ok fine! LOL!...but what talent does Klum exactly have?

Actually according to Tyra Banks you need to be a Harvard graduate to be a supermodel it seems...haha.

I do get your point, but it's not like you have to go to the fashion institute to become a model. I mean a model basically just has to put the clothes on and have a make up artist doing her make up and hair. How does that equal knowing about fashion? But hey! We agree on the fact that she has no talent! LOL

That Harvard tour guide was like a Russian hooker parading as a college professor (I think she said she was a professor, right?)
I really like Kelly. For someone so innocent looking, she can really call a spade a spade.
Taylor is heading down a path to destruction. She's had three boyfriends and has been dating Cole on-and-off for three years? I'd say it's scary for a 13 year old to be dating that much, but then I remembered how she exaggerating about her "hook up" with Sebastian.
Was anyone else offended by Jessie's glasses? I hope, for her sake, that she wasn't honestly trying to pull those off...yikes.
I do like Camille, but she gets in her own way by being a know-it-all. I'm embarrassed to say that I feel a sort of artificial bond with her because I know how nutty it can be to go to an all girls school for high school, lol.
The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?
SCARLET! The "tour guide"! My friend currently goes to Harvard and had her as a TF for one of his English classes last semester. He claims she does, in fact, act just like that in real life. So, not exactly a professor. But I do believe that she is a "bit of a devil" like she says. What a crackpot.
Actually, Klum was THE model of her day, and she is quite a good host. During deliberations she has valid opinions and critiques. Noone said she went to FIT and has a fashion merchandising degree.
Rowland just walks around with Mizrahi agreeing with him. "Uh huh...right, right..." was the most intelligent thing she said all season. I dont hate her, dont think much of her actually...just that she was a terrible cohost. Oh, and she cant sing.

I think Heidi is adorable on Runway, and I ADORE Nina and Michael. Isaac's "sorry, darling" just can't measure up to "the crotch on those pants are INSANE!"

"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
Okay, she can sing...I never heard her sing like that before...even though I HATE it when singers breathe in the middle of words so they can riff!!!

Where? She's never done any high fashion, she became popular because she worked for Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated.
The only real German international supermodel has been Claudia Schiffer, who worked for Chanel, Versace, Dior, and the list goes on and on.
And Im not even going to get into the she can sing arguement. People say that Jessica Simpson can't sing, and I love her voice. So I'm used to that...

She may not have been known for high fashion, but Klum was HUGE commercially (still a valid form of modeling, if not quite as exciting). Yeah, she initially gained popularity because of Vicky's and SI, but she was also on the cover of Vogue, Elle and many more fashion magazines. She's not as couture as Claudia, but she has expanded herself across a lot of different areas (she's been in TV shows, she's helped design clothing lines abroad and lingerie lines at Victoria's Secret, etc). She's really quite business-savvy.
I meant the most famous model of her day, sorry not to clarify. I still dont know why she knows nothing about fashion? Because she modeled for Victoria's Secret? They arent models? She actually did go to fashion school in Germany before being discovered. Shiffer wore alot of clothes, but could she design them?
Ya want to hate Klum, fine. I'm kinda bored of this now.
In a spirit of friendship, I'll leave the Jessica Simpson line alone.

I love Jessie's glasses. They are very artsy and urban. I have a similar pair.
