Danmag, you're SO right. That's brilliant! Except Jessie is NO Sarah Michelle Gellar, and if PC every tried to put his ding-dong into Taylor/Reese Witherspoon's hoo-hoo, I think it would shrivel up and turn from an outie to an innie.
"Why, I make more money than... than... than Calvin Coolidge! PUT TOGETHER!" ~Lina Lamont
I was totally thinking of Cruel Intentions when Jessi & PC were talking about Taylor being their pet project/charity case.
Hook-up and awkward/awkwardness were the two words I heard the most in tonight's episode.
I think it's the editing that makes some of the teens appear bland. On the Bravo site, Taylor appears more grounded, intelligent, and personable on her blog than on the show.
Oh, and Miami Social equals adult version of NYC Prep. Updated On: 7/14/09 at 10:08 PM
Hell, I forgot Miami Social! I DVR'ed NYC Prep because I was watching Big Brother. But I can definitely see comparisons between this show and Cruel Intentions.
The dinner party was singlehandedly the most brilliant thing about NYC Prep thus far.
And I too caught the Cruel Intentions vibe from PC and Jessi.
"I am and always will be the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes and dreamer of improbable dreams." - Doctor Who
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
I thought it was funny that PC suspected Raggs might be possessed of some hidden brilliance because she made some stupid random comment about wanting to be an elephant trainer when she grew up.
Man, if making dumb, smart ass comments makes you intelligent, I should be in MENSA.
I'm quite certain the schools these kids attend will not let the cameras in. The only one we have actually seen at school is Taylor and she goes to a public school.
According to the New York Magazine article that was posted in this thread a couple of pages back, PC and Jessie's school (Dwight) has threatened expulsion to any of its students who might try to get on this show in the future.
