NYC Protest At Mormon Temple This Wednesday 11/12 — Page 3

It was such a terrific event, such a LARGE and POWERFUL turn-out. We shouted and marched and were so pissed but unified! It was elating and up-lifting (in the face of hateful legislation). My goodness, it was just a surge of "taking it to the streets"! I've never been part of an impromptu protest before. Some great signs and chanting and so good to be SWIMMING among thousands of people with their heads screwed-on straight (no pun intended). Friends report I was on FOX5 and NBC4 (but I didn't see it)

REMEMBER: Rally at City Hall, Saturday November 15 at 1:30pm

I wish I could have been there. I would have brought my children.

If there is one in DC, I'm there. And I hope there will be.

But that's not a flattering picture of the guy with the megaphone on the lamppost.

He was so hot and he looks demented there.

He's the one who shouted into the megaphone "I say 'human,' you say, 'rights.' HUMAN!..."

And we all shouted "Rights!" Then he shouted, "HUMAN!" And we shouted "Rights!"

And we kept on going back and forth "HUMAN!" "Rights!" "HUMAN!" "Rights!" "HUMAN!" "Rights!" "HUMAN!" "Rights!"

Just because he was sexy. But not so much in your picture.

Maybe you had to be there...

Wish I'd gone. I can't take crowds, but I wish I'd gone. Calvin, you look hot. PJ, thanks for the coverage. The emotion is palpable just reading this thread.
