Can't wait to see her in Roundabout's production of Streetcar - I like her a lot and hope she has the chops for it. It's always been one of my favorite plays.
You know she'll be brilliant. It's a given.
*fingers crossed for her*

That production has been near the top of my must-see list when we get to town - I can't imagine where she got all that talent from
This production is the reason I am timing my 30th birthday extravagaza New York trip the way I am. I love this play, I love Studio 54 and I love Natasha Richardson. I saw her in the Almeida production of The Lady From The Sea a little while back and she was exquisite.
And then I get to come home and watch her mother in the new RSC production of Hecuba. Marvellous.
I wonder who her Stanley could be.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Maybe someone against type perhaps?

I don't believe it has.
Though things could change.
My Little Pony, who could you mean? You?
And DGrant, there's no word on the Ruffalo front. But if he IS cast then I will fall into a Vivien Leigh style swoon when I see the show.

I CAN NOT WAIT to see this play. It is one of my absoluet favorites of all time, and the movie (wonderful as it may be) just doesn't do the script justice. And the fact that it's a Roundabout production and it's going to be at Studio 54 makes me even more excited! Eeek!!!
Alas, no...it's not me. But I would be wonderful as the Negro Woman, don't you think?
No...from what I heard (and I would never betray a source), it's someone very different.
HOWEVER, that was when Matthew Warchus was directing. It could be very different now that Edward Hall has taken the helm.

Can't Patrick Wilson be Stanley...
I know its not a musical but he is a wonderful actor in any role he takes on.

Ruffalo drops out of practically every project he signs on for, so don't anticipate seeing him in Streetcar. I'm not kidding either.
Yeah, that brain tumour that left him with facial paralysis really messed with his career.

I absolutely loved Edward Hall's productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream (at BAM earlier this year) and Rose Rage, so I'm really looking forward to what he does with Streetcar. Definitely one of the most exciting stage directors to emerge in the last several years (SO much better than Matthew Warchus whose work I've found to be consistently pedestrian and underwhelming). Good for Roundabout for snatching him up for this production.
