Honestly, I'm not well educated when it comes to Broadway shows. I'm here to hopefully discover some great albums/shows I wouldn't otherwise know about. There's a few albums I own that I love, but I grew up mainly on movie-musicals.
Judy Garland is my everything; I have worshiped her since I was 6 years old. My favorite Judy movies are The Pirate, The Clock, A Child Is Waiting & Little Nellie Kelly. I'm a big fan of Lana Del Rey & Lady Gaga as well.
I hate Cats, Wicked, Grease, Les Miserables & Mama Mia. I love Urinetown, A Very Potter Musical, Next To Normal & 1776.
I'm very open-minded when it comes to music, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to share :)
I've never been on here, nor was I a lurker. I read about this site in The Q Guide To Broadway, but that was like 2 or 3 years ago. I've been getting a taste for showtunes again and signed up hoping to have help expanding my collection and knowledge.
So why is your name "trashley" then? What is that from? I chose a stupid name and spent the next couple months paying for it. You should have learned my lesson before you chose that name...
Well, on other forums I'm on, I go by TrayerTrash. Trayer is my last name, and growing up, Trayer Trash was something people called me because my family was poor & they were trash hoarders (being serious, my parents hoarded trash in our house, it was disgusting)
Anyway, the name used to really bother me, but over the years, people kind of just started calling me Trayer Trash in a friendly way. In a way, I took back that name & turned it into something positive!
I wanted to switch it up here, no reason, just wanted to; so since my name is Ashley, decided to go with Trashley. I don't really care if it's a stupid name o if people like it or not, I like it :)I'm sure if I ever piss someone off they'll use my name against me, but it's whatever, I've gotten it from people on other boards & I'm kind of used to it now.
Anyway, I'm trying to get into new musicals & such & need help. I've heard all the basics (Grease, Cats, Rent, all the disney ones, Dream Girls, Phantom Of The Opera, Les Mis, & all the other popular ones) but my favorites are Urinetown, Next To Normal & Zanna, Don't! If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me so I can check them out :)

Carlos, I don't understand why you felt the need to say that to me. I have done nothing wrong to you, or anyone, on this board. Like I said in my first post, I came to this site to learn more about musicals, showtunes & the theatre world in general. I am NOT here for you to start crap with me over nothing. Please stop being rude to me. It's a poor reflection upon yourself and this entire site.
So cool of you to delete that message, but whatever, your rudeness & lack of maturity has left me no but to leave this site. I hope you learn to grow the hell up & stop being a coward who bullied people behind a computer.
