I'm not proud-I love this show. Tonight starts a new season, then I watch Runway, yay! So glad I'm not working tonight.

Anyway, Runway has its own thread, so if anyone here wants to watch Model and post about it later, here's a thread.

Did anyone watch the "Where are they now?" episode yesterday? Doesn't it seem like some of the rejects are doing more than the "winners" are??

ETA: Nothing remarkable. I tuned in a bit late at a friend's place, and it seemed like they skipped over Adrienne entirely. Elyse is now a successful model in HK (I know this from her blog, not from the show), April and Cassandra now work for UPN (well, that's what they said, but Cassandra's actually interning). They're all a blur now, but I remember these rejects talking about doing hot runways and photo spreads for really well-respected magazines and designers, and then you cut to Nicole, and she's all, "Yeah, I've got an ad for an eyeglasses company...I've been travelling a LOT...went to LA..." (Zoom in on her passport. I'm not kidding.)

Wednesday is my favorite night of the week: ANTM (AI on TiVO), then Criminal Minds, and finally Project Runway. Although, I don't know if Top Chef will be able to keep me up 'till 11.

My money's on Nnenna too. She's won me over, totally. Just give her the contract and let's not drag this out for another 11 weeks!

I'm hating Gina (I wanted Asian representation but not in the form of an insecure emotional basketcase!) and Jade, but at least Jade's got "the look" (if only she had "the pose" to back it up!).

Can't wait till next week, but better yet, I can't wait until Television Without Pity starts this season's recaps! Huzzah!

I'm sorry but I can't stand Jade. She's got the face of a mean person and so far has a bad attitude. (as they've told her already).

Jade scares me. At least when Eva The Diva was mean, you could tell it was just a front. Jade seems like a nasty, over-compensating, condescending bitch. As much as I hate Gina, Jade was so out of line to pick on her like that.

And Gina's a tool - I can't take sides on this. I want Jade to rip Gina's head off, but I want someone to slap Jade too. Gina seems like a dumber Jessica Simpson. Seriously. And a lush, to boot! AND a cry baby.

If I were Gina I would've shaved off her afro right then and there then punched her in the baby maker. Honestly Jade pisses the HELL out of me, she needs to go right now. She isn't *that* great and needs to get over herself.

nnena is the most lovely and put to gether so far. but the story of the show is TRANSFORMATION and they love the girls who come in as skunks and emerge as swans through their "instruction". that's the story of the show. at 24 nnena is too old, really -- although she may make a good runway model or actress. my money is on one of those farm girls.
i'm glad miss jay brought up the "T" word in reference to jade because she reminds me of dil in THE CRYING GAME. and she knows all there is to know about the model game...
