It's been delayed forever hasn't it? There's been talk of bad test screenings and Aronofsky fighting to keep final cut.
The trailer seemed a little bizarre to me. Is this an action movie? But I'll see it because it's Aronofsky.

I think there was some grumbling about the film being heretical, which only makes me want to see it more.

Haha, that was hilarious, SonofRobbieJ.
My understanding is that Paramount is pretty upset Aronofsky didn't shoot the illustrated Bible version of Noah, and instead did his own thing...which makes me think they pretty much never saw a Darren Aronofsky movie before greenlighting this project.

Yeah, the fact that Darren signed on to direct a big budget STUDIO film is where this project hit the skids. I'm sure the paycheck was terrific, but with that money coming in, the artistic freedom went out. Regardless, the man is a genius.
