Ellie Kemper's dress is pretty fab.
What was that hideous all white shmatta? and on a 20 yr old? EEk!
I'm in the wrong time zone for this. It hasn't started yet.
Actually, I think it's 1963 here, so we may never catch up.

Viola Davis looks like broccoli.
I'm snarky tonight because I'm on a diet and can't have my annual Ghirardelli Oscar brownies.
I'm waiting to see Sascha Baron Cohen arrive on the red carpet as the Dictator.
That lady host on ABC is dressed like a napkin.

Who was that guy with his mom? He looked like he was excited to be entering the science fair.
He was in Moneyball. He was very good! I hope he wins the blue ribbon.
Why does VIola Davis have red hair and a green dress? Did I miss the Christmas memo?
Nice hair, Maya Rudolph!
And I thought Octavia Spencer looked great.
Octavia did look great! Viola looked like a McDonalddand refugee.
Rooney's chest looks like the Sydney Opera House.
Rooney Mara looks like Joey Arias.
(Also thought she was kinda snotty. Just me?)

The Dictator has arrived. Very Woody Allen in Bananas in 1971..?
Octavia's my favorite dress so far. Some of these are total trainwrecks, and I don't understand Kelly Osbourne's star-struck flattery to every gown. Sheesh.
Missi Pyle looked great for a few seconds ... I adored her in "The Artist." Small part, but she was hilarious.
It seems like everyone's wearing the same color--and the same color as Robin Roberts. That can't be right.

Isn't she wearing an eco-friendly dress this year?
Beige is the new beige.
The Prince of Monaco looked nervous. Maybe because he wasn't wearing beige.
Hate Shailene Woodley's dress. Too young for it.
Love Jessica Chastian's. The pattern is interesting, but not in a horrible way.
LOL!
"Seacrest asked whom he is wearing. 'I'm wearing John Galliano but the socks are from KMart. Saddam Hussein once said to me, 'Socks are socks. Don't waste money.' And, yes, that is a funereal urn which Sacha said contained his 'dear friend' North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il. 'It was his dream to come to the Oscars and to be sprinkled over the Red Carpet and over Halle Berry's chest again.
With that, Baron Cohen opened the urn and ten spilled the ashes all over Seacrest's Burberry tuxedo and shoes!
Immediately, security men (real or play acting) pushed Baron Cohen away from Seacrest who didn't looked amused. 'It's OK. Now if somebody asks you who you are wearing, you can say Kim Jung Il!'
Said the stunned Seacrest, who looked a mess, 'I had a feeling he was up to something in some fashion or form. We'll be right back.'

I LOVE Emma Stone but that red dress with a big bow has got to go!
I didn't realize if Pllummer wins, he's the oldest winner in that category ... age 82. He trumps George Burns at age 80.
Wait, would he be the oldest acting winner ever?
Let it never, ever be said that I don't like bows but Emma Stone really screwed it up.
And Rooney Mara looks perfectly awful.

Jessica Chastain's dress was beautiful. If it had more material, ie: sleeves, it would have looked like Carol Burnett's Gone w/the Wind dress.
Yeah, Emma Stone's dress was blech. The bow was too much, but I think it would have been a tiny bit better if the dress was short.
Kristen Wiig is wearing ... wait for it ... beige.
