Angelina looked horrible. Her arms were disgusting. I too did not like Sandra Bullock's dress. It looked cheaply made, in my opinion, and too big. I'll admit, the top wasn't too bad, but when you got to the embellishment at the waist and the skirt, it was all no for me.

Natalie Portman's dress I liked, just not that it was long with the polka dots. I think those would have looked better on a shorter dress.

I loved Penelope Cruz's dress. Since I mentioned other favorites last night, I won't repeat myself now.

Here are Entertainment Weekly's red carpet grades. They actually really liked Angelina:

Penelope Cruz was my hands-down favorite. Loved it.

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

Rooney Mara had a good look overall, but the dress specifically, wasn't flattering to her bony upper body. I don't know if she has poor posture but she looked like a heroin addict from the waist up.

Anyone else wish Rooney Mara would marry George Clooney, just for fun?

That just made me shiver, Reg.

I'd like to stick up for Viola Davis. I thought she looked fabulous. The green was stunning on her. And I LOVED that she went full on motherland with her hair (even though it was dyed). I actually think it's really refreshing to see a black woman with 'natural' hair rather than weaves or wigs. I'm hoping for a full-on Angela Davis resurgence. I f-ing love afros. I think they're gorgeous...and I'm glad there were two on the Oscars last night (props to Chris Rock for sporting the 'fro and telling the truth about voiceover work!)

re: Viola Davis. It was a love/hate thing for me. I would look at it and go, "Wow! She looks sensational!" Then I'd look at it again and say, "Eww. That's awful!"

No matter...I thought she made the dress work. Not sure if it was her overall look (loved the short hair, too, RobbieJ Jr.) or the fact that she was always beaming or just the positive aura she projects, but whatever it was, she looked beautiful.

I didn't see Stacy's dress. Can this just be the Oscars thread?

Jane, I agree with you about Rooney Mara. I LOVED her dress, but she didn't do it justice. It was very Jean Harlow, who died too young although not from a heroin overdose. (Christian Science is what killed her!)

As far as dresses go, Judy Greer wins.

If Rooney Mara is marrying for fun, then I pick Mickey Rooney as her groom.

I like Judy Greer's dress, but I'm just so-so on the Jodie Foster mask.

See I didn't like Judy Greer's dress. And when I saw Rooney Mara the first thought that came to my mind was "Damn! Her boobs are even smaller than mine!"

When Rooney Mara was being interviewed on ABC Red Carpet, she was so soft spoken, lovely, somewhat shy, etc. Kinda the opposite of the harsh looking, overly made up "persona" she projects. I wish she was a dark blonde with soft waves, and neutral makeup. Such a pretty girl, good actress.

I didn't care for Judy Greer's dress either. But I have been looking at photos online and I have to say that I think Ellie Kemper's dress is lovely.

The absolute worst I found was Anne-Sophie Blon. Did anyone else see it?

(This is embarrassing, but I don't know who Ellie Kemper or Anne-Sophie Blon are.)

Funny you mention that about Rooney, Stock. Lisbeth's androgyny in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is important for the character (though she makes changes over time) and Rooney basically had to be really comfortable with her body with the amount of nudity and other things necessary with the character. I think she kept the hair either with the possibility of continuing the trilogy or she just happens to really identify with Lisbeth. I know she has kept that 'do for an upcoming Terrence Malick movie.

Ellie Kemper was in Bridesmaids and is on The Office.

Loved that Viola's hair, apart from the color, was natural. But why such a beautiful woman would have made every other choice she made last night appearance-wise is beyond me. Emma Stone's bow was nutty but for me it perfectly accessorized her nutty schtick presenting (along with the Christopher Guest and company clip. the comic highlights of the evening). Can't tell you what I thought of Billy Crystal's opening song because i couldn't hear a word of it thanks to overorchestration.

Can't understand why anyone wouldn't love Judy Greer's dress; I thought she looked amazing - but, hey, that's just the way it is with fashion.... like acting, it's largely subjective.

Somebody needs to take Maria Shriver - seen in the clip from the tech awards ceremony - out for a pizza and a chocolate malt. Immediately!

I adored Penelope's dressed. It was pitch perfect - the style, the color, the accessories. Stunning.

I didn't care for Emma Stone's bow but some did. So be it.

J-lo's denying having a nip slip. She had it - I saw it. Just fess up already.

And Angie MIGHT have looked better with some stockings. Personally, I always thing a dressy gown and bare legs looks wrong.
