I noticed that this morning Obama was referring to his veep pick as "that person." Yesterday, it was "he." Could the "that person" indicate we may be getting someone of the female persuasion, or am I reading into it too much?

I think he's trying to throw red herrings in every public comment he makes to keep everyone guessing. He's really tying to build to something big, unfortunately, if the pundits are right, that build up will be for a dud.
If he chooses a dud, at least have him/her pop out of a cake like Debbie Reynolds in Singing in the Rain.
i still think it's richardson. it's probable he'll announce tomorrow with texts going out just before or at teh satrt of the speech so that it dominates the sunday talk shows going into the convention.
i still think mac's going with pawlenty. he really doesn't like romney and romney kills him with the evangelicals.
It's the first major decision either candidate has to make.
So they'd better not screw it up, in the public's eye. A half-assed choice = a half-assed opinion of that candidate going into the election.
This is no time for middle-of-the-road decisions.
where the heck did this come from?
talk about left field.
Who is this guy?
Obama never even Vetted Hillary. What was all this "She would be on anyone's short list" crap? Obama caught in a lie.

got nothing to add of relevance; just wanted to change the subject line.

Of course he didn't vet shill dog, she told him she didn't want to be VP when tehy met after he concession. She can't accept anything below Queen.
It's like waiting to see who'll be named Prom Queen.
Chance, where is your source on this? Do tell.
Obama LIED. He led her supporters to believe he was actually considering her and then turns out he never even had her vetted. He even said she would be on anyone's short list and said yes when asked if she was considered to be VP. He lied. All these people who said Hillary was moving to the center and that she lies and will say anything to get elected, where is your outrage?
you silly gooses! acting all surprised that bammy lied.
Note to Self:
Start listening to Papa more often.
"Obama LIED. He led her supporters to believe he was actually considering her and then turns out he never even had her vetted."
You've go to be kidding me. First of all that article points this fact "An Obama aide said "absolutely exhaustive research was done on her over the course of the 16 month primary. She was researched more closely than any candidate in history."
This isn't some deal where Obama could have shut her out. It doesn't work that way. The media plays this as if it was his sole decision. If Clinton wanted the slot she will have it. There were deals made. She was vetted just like everyone else.
the sky is plaid and any reports to the contrary are lies! dirty stinking neocon lies!!! anyone who cannot see that is blind!!! blind i tell you!!!!!!!
You really think the Democratic party would start a firestorm like this? This late in the game... Wait they are that stupid.
Time will tell and if the story turns out not to be true I will be the first to apologize to Senator Obama. But I think its safe to say she won't be his choice. She is expected to speak somewhere tomorrow and its not in Springfield, Illinois (my hometown by the way)
Whether it's her not is besides the point. She may not have even wanted this. But if she did she would have it.
I hope SHE took it.
"Time will tell and if the story turns out not to be true I will be the first to apologize to Senator Obama. "
I seriously hope that isn't how you operate in daily life.
No, in a daily life I tend to listen to the politicians I plan on supporting. Its when they lie to me, thats what brings out the bitchy diva in me.
Well most of them lie. Hillary Clinton lies to you and so does Obama. Both say they don't but they do.
This was not a lie. She was most certainly in the running.
Hillary Rodham Clinton's prospects remained a mystery on a day full of them, although senior aides said the Obama campaign had never requested financial or other records from her.
