Last night I had a dream where both of my feet were cut off by a sword.

I guess the stress of buying a bigger place (and having far less flexibility) is getting to me.

The other night I had a dream that BWWers were arguing over whether Xanadu was a "parody" of the movie or if was an "homage". In my dream, people pronounced "homage" "Ah maj" like it was French.

Not the weirdest but strange nonetheless.

It's not the weirdest dream I've ever had but last night I dreamt that I moved into this enormous house with like, 25 other people, and they gave me the most overcrowded bedroom with the smallest bed. I was so sad about this I was planning on moving out the next day when I discovered--

We were on the real world! So there was this guy following us around with a video camera trying to get people to go on the roof. We all ignored him and went into the back, where one of our roommates had gotten a pool installed. It turned out she was a really good synchronized swimmer and she and all her synchronized swimming buddies put on a show for us. It was really good!

Then this little girl came over and read my mind and told me what my name was. I told her she was the smartest little girl I'd ever met and then I told her mom that she could read minds and the mom freaked out. Then I woke up.

Once, after watching a scary movie, I woke up in the middle of the night. I had fallen asleep with one arm clutching the other arm and when I opened my eyes and saw that, I thought someone else's hand was grabbing my arm. I seriously had one of those moments where I thought my life was over and before I opened my mouth to scream I realized it was my own arm.
Yep. I'm bright.

And does anyone else have dreams where they're falling and then get woken up by that awful sensation, only to realize you're in bed? It's awful, awful, awful.

Someone was strangling me in my bed and it was such a struggle to wake up and fight them. I woke up and was relieved that it was just a nightmare until I saw someone was in the bedroom coming towards me. I tried to scream but my throat was paralyzed. Finally, got the scream out only to wake up and realize it was all a dream. It was scary. Maybe sleep apnea?

I once had a dream in math class [pause for laughter] that I was skateboarding in a cul-de-sac (I don't skateboard. Ever). Then I tripped up and started to fall, and I woke up to my head slipping off of the desk. And another time I was on a roller coaster, and I could feel the inertia effect on my insides. It was weird.

Last night I had a dream that I ran away to New Orleans and ended up in a flea market looking at dresses and make up.

A lot of my dreams have been really odd lately. I've had trouble sleeping, too, so that might be part of it.

the night before the first day of school last year I had this dream:

I was running down to my bus stop while the bus was waiting for me and I passed out so the bus drive ran up to save me and my best friend Ashley went on the bus radio to tell them to come save me and they said"whats his name" so she was like "LIAM!" and they said "whats his number?" and she said "cucumber" and hung up...so then they couldn't save me because they didn't know my number.

...I woke up crying.

Oh boy, I could flood this thread with tons of dreams.

One time I had this weird dream...I could've sworn I felt my bed moving like someone was jumping on it. Then I thought I heard my mom's voice, so I say, "Mom?" and I wake up and no one is there.

Another time I had a dream that someone was about to vacuum downstairs in our family room. All of a sudden, the vacuum cleaner threw up.

I've had weird dreams where I thought I was awake, but my house was dim...then all of a sudden my mom would appear giving me the death stare, and I'd realize I was dreaming. I'd squeeze my eyes shut and wake up in bed struggling to stay awake.

I've had some pretty odd dreams in my day, but here's last nights.

It was the first day of school and I was wandering around my high school campus (which I still attend). I'm saying hello to people but cannot seem to find any friends in my new classes. At lunch, I decide to find my friends. I remember that we have a hang out apartment in my grandma's retirement home! (???) The retirement home looks rather like an upscale hotel. It has a garden and a patio and a really nice dining room with all these vacationing families and waiters and stuff. However, I have forgotten which apartment/hotel room is mine. I reach the one I think is mine and barge in without announcement. It isn't my apartment after all, but my drama teacher's. The TV is on, His very pregnant wife is in the tiny kitchen chopping vegetables, and my drama teacher, my best friend, a girl from my drama class, and my friend's French exchange student are crowded on the floor doing yoga. I say, "Oh Hello Jason! Hello Julia, Hello Lottie!" etc and we all have a splendid little lunch-drama discussion session. I realize that I haven't seen my other best friend all day, and I don't know her class schedule. I don't even know MY class schedule. My friends and I eventually leave Jason & his pregnant wife to their vegetables. I lose my friends again. Suddenly, I are no longer at high school or at my grandma's retirement home but at the middle school campus (?). I call my friends again. "Hey, where are you guys?" "Oh, we went to Togos for lunch. Walk up and join us." Except Togos is like a mile from the middle school and we have ten minutes left in lunch. I head back to class, but am locked out of the campus by a rather menacing parking meter/security booth. I finally find my best friend, and without another word, we start to quote Grease.
"Well, here we go again."
"Only this time we're seniors"
"And we're gonna rule the school!"
The End.

I really hate Grease.

I had a dream last week that my house looked like the Escher painting with all the stairs and doors in strange places. There were stairs on the walls, upside down stairs, stairs on the ceiling. Stairs freaking everywhere, and they were all carpeted in this dark green and maroon paisley pattern. I was walking up the stairs to escape an evil football player who lived next door. It was wild.

I had a dream last night that I was on a monorail around town, but every wall all around town was a theme-park-style waterfall. But then all of a sudden, I was in some sort of lodge or something, and everyone had turned into blue water zombies that only bit people's hands. Then, when they finally got me, I woke up. They were kind of funny-looking, looking back, but it was pretty frightening at the time.

i had some weird dreams last night. i ran out of claritan a few days ago and had been taking benedryl at night instead to avoid waking up with a sinus headache.
that plus a medication i take that can cause drowsyness as a side effect made me feel like i was floating.

i dont remember what the dreams were though, but i kept waking up very confussed.

Why? I don't remember seeing Ms Spelling recently, or reading anything about her.

I had a weird dream that it was the first day of school and for some reason I never bothered to look at my schedule, so I went to all the wrong classes. And the schedule was right in my hand!

Weird dream from a few weeks ago...

I went to get the mail, and found a "big packet" from a medical school. According to the contents of the packet, I had been accepted to the medical school (even though I had never applied either in real life or the dream).

On the first day of medical school, they made us watch episodes of House and General Hospital. Then I was a doctor.

I had two really odd dreams last night. First, I was going to get a tattoo, but rather than something I actually liked, I was going to get a picture my friend had drawn of his father, who had died in a plane crash, inked on my shoulder. I was really excited, but then when the artist was finished and I looked in the mirror, he had drawn the picture in the style of a South Park character. I was pissed... then I woke up.

In the next one, I was at my job (as a waiter) and Hillary Clinton and half her campaign staff came in to eat. They were sat in my section, which was cool at first, but then they started requesting all sorts of food that we don't serve, like baked potatoes, bouillabaisse, and "English tea squares." I tried to tell them that we didn't serve those, and then they got mad. My section filled up, I was beyond weeded, and then I tried to get the manager to help me, but he was walking around too fast for me to catch him... and then I woke up. Literally the worst nightmare I've had in a long time. (Because it seemed so real!)

I had a dream last night that I was at the summer camp where I work, and there was this strange brown snake in the creek bed. It was fat, two feet long, and had a rattle. It wouldn't leave me alone and could move ridiculously fast. It didn't bite, but if it slithered quickly over my leg (I fell down at one point.) it would leave a nasty rash like I had rubbed sandpaper across my leg. In the dream, I later looked it up online and it was some sort of sand snake that could spit poison but didn't bite.

I'm not at all afraid of snakes and have picked them up on many occasions so I am not sure what the dream was about.
