Posted: 7/13/07 at 12:33pmOk, two nights ago I had a dream where I was dying of a brain tumor and my best male friend asked me to marry him when I had two months to live, because he didnt want my last romantic memory to be with my ex. And then I died, and Michael Cerveris came to my funeral and sang. It was all very sweet.

Posted: 7/13/07 at 12:40pmi recently had an odd dream where a creepy little man with big ears was trying to kill me. I got in my car to drive away but he held on to the bottom. So I ran over speed bumps, it was really weird.

Posted: 7/13/07 at 3:23pmI had a weird dream one time about a fight between me and a bunch of other people for no particular reason. I wasn't me, though; it was like watching myself in a movie. Then I saw myself get killed and the rest of the fight went on for a bit before I woke up. It was odd.

I once had the dream that Tiger Woods tried to destroy the White House. It was several years ago, but it was so weird that I always mention it when I'm asked this question.
I also had a dream once that someone on BWW said that Ben Vereen died, and even though there was absolutly no proof for it, everyone was really sad and crying.

Posted: 7/13/07 at 4:16pmI once had a dream that I was doing a show with Maggie Smith, and when the curtain came down I told her what a magnificent job she did, and she yelled at me. I then proceeded to call her a jerk and that she had no right to yell at anyone who was giving her a compliment. She then burst into tears and said "i'm sorry, i don't mean to be mean" from then on she was a wonderfully loving person.

Posted: 7/13/07 at 5:37pmI had a dream where someone actually CARED about my dreams. Then my therapist stepped in and said, "Sueleen, NOBODY CARES about OTHER people's dreams. Not even their THERAPISTS! Our time is up for today." Then I went home from the appointment and took a nap...oh, wait...

Posted: 7/13/07 at 7:41pmThis is wierd but true-I used to have this dream where all of my teeth were falling out- like popcorn popping. Then I found out that I clenched my teeth (TMJ) while I was sleeping. As soon as I started wearing an appliance- I stopped having that dream. Every now and then, I dream that I don't have enough credits to graduate from college or that I forgot to go to a class and failed. The pathetic thing is- I graduated over 20 years ago!

When my step-grandmother died, I had a dream that she came back with her head on a body of a snake.

We had a thread going a couple of years ago about nightmares you remember having. This was what I posted then. It remains my worse nightmare.
"The worst I ever had happened when I was really exhausted. I was in that half asleep/half awake state when I started dreaming. I was walking down the hallway in my apartment. I passed the closet where the door was opened just a couple of inches. Just as I passed, a hand darted out and grabbed my arm. It scared me so much that I woke up immediately with my heart racing a mile a minute.
The nightmare part of this is that I was so tired that I almost immediately started to fall asleep again. As I did, there I was again - walking down the hall, past the door, the hand pops out and grabs me and there I am again - in bed, wide awake, heart racing. This kept repeating itself, over and over again. It got so I knew that I was dreaming and that a hand was going to come out of that closet. In the dream, I tried to prepare for it - I knew it was just a hand, it was just going to grab my arm, it wasn't going to hurt me, it was only a dream...... and then it happened again and again I woke up with my heart in my throat. This was the most exhausting - and terrifying - night I've ever had. Thank God it never happened again! "

I had a dream where John Travolta was chasing me. We were on a train and John Travolta had a large Italian salami and he kept wanting me to taste it but I didn't WANT to taste it and he was chasing me along the train. Suddenly, the train went into a tunnel. When the train came out I was in another car on the train and all my male cousins were there, naked, bound and gagged except for one arm. My most attractive cousin was there with a bowl of fruit in his lap. He offered me a banana. I reached for the banana but Tom Cruise told me not to eat it or I'd get sick. He then offered me a cigar. We sat smoking our cigars, talking about baseball. He offered to take me to the revival of Flower Drum Song.
Can anyone figure out what that dream means? I'm stumped.

The oddest one I've had was about a night ago.
Now, I've had dreams with actors, and for some reason, Alan Cumming likes to show up. [My mother says, according to Freud, he could be representing someone else]. The past two times he's shown up as a teacher and at a concert [in my basement].
This third time, he did a strip-tease.
A group of friends and I had gone to this club. I'm not sure where it was, but I think it may have been in New York City or Boston. When we got inside, there was a stage and Alan Cumming came out. He started by singing a sultry number [not sure if was from a show, but it sounded familar] and then began to take off his clothes. He wasn't in character or anything, it was just him on a stage, stripping and singing.
[Yes, I have an overtly sexual subconscious.]

I was in bed, and I looked to my left and lying next to me was my partners father who was smiling.
I immediately bolted awake and looked at the clock. And then went back to sleep.
When I woke up later that morning, Steve told me that his died had passed away....at the exact time I had my dream.
