John Denver (love me some JD on the days that I feel the children and the flowers are my sisters and my brothers

How can you not love Daniel? He definitely has a lot of personality and humor. He got older ladies in hysterics when I was at the stage door!

I'm not sure how I feel about a Jersey Boys movie. I haven't seen it live yet, but from what everyone has said it sounds so amazing live that it seems like it'd be hard to capture all of that on film. That's just my opinion though.

Haha I think the "attention span" and the John Denver comments are my favorite parts.

I love the attention span part too! It made me laugh. I also love how he has Erykah Badu and India Arie on his iPod.


Edit: And Meryl, have fun at The History Boys! Also good luck good luck getting some souvenirs.

Hi everyone! This is my first post here! I think Jersey Boys would make a great movie musical! They should make one in like 3 years from now like THE PRODUCERS, if the boys look a little older in the next 3 years they could put on some make-up to make them look younger, like Joe Pesci in My Cousin Vinny! What do you think?

Welcome to the thread, Jersey Gal! I saw your post about JLY fanmail on the main board and I'm glad you made it over here.

A little OT (sorry!) but since Meryl mentioned The History Boys--I really wish I could see that. I love the trailer (in my head I keep seeing Dominic Cooper's smirk during "Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered").

Kathryn, thanks for posting those! Love them, especially the second one. I noticed also that JLY tends to wear t-shirts with blazers a lot. He looks good in them, LOL.

I'm curious. Why'd they need both Michael Longoria AND JLY at that recording session?

I am not sure but I think it has to do with the doubling, to recreate the sound of the four seasons.

There was a big deal about that a while ago, I dont know if you read any or it or not.

Hello all. I have been fighting a bit of a cold for the past few days which is not fun. Plus I start school on thursday which SUCKS! But it's my last year of high school so it's not that bad.

I thought I'd let you guys know that John was feeling under the weather again last night. He only made it through I guess 10 minutes of the show before they turned the house lights on and had Dominic go on in the role. So keep him in your thoughts and prayers more than normal... I don't know if he is back in the show today or not but I heard he looked and sounded really sick last night.

I keep thinking about John in that backstage on-camera appearance from Broadway.com. Of course, it was right after the Tony's when the guys were scheduled to within an inch of their lives with outside appearances.

Still, John looked pale, stressed and exhausted. For some reason, I think his resistance may be low and that's why he's been getting sick lately.

Just a thought. I've seen other people with that look. Heck, I've had that look myself. You feel like you just want to sleep for a month, but you can't.
