I've been good but I'm starting school this week.
Time for some pictures !
Hey Emily! I love how we're all like, "stupid school..."
Yeah, the thread has been hoppin' lately. A good thing.
Erin, I love these pictures! I always enjoy group pics; Melissa Hoff is gorgeous as is her husband; and that one with John and Michael Cerveris--wow. I'd never seen it before. I love how natural it looks. John has a great smile.

Tennessee, did your niece ever send him and Daniel gift certificates for chocolate?
Nope. At least, not to my knowledge. And she may be a bit peeved with me for "telling her all her business" online and potentially spoiling the surprise. Ooops!
But mostly, I think she's been too busy with softball tournaments and getting ready for school.
But she hasn't forgotten about JB. As a matter of fact, she's been turning all her tweener friends on to the JB cast CD. She and her pals may be planning something else that I won't be told about.

I can't wait untill I see A Chours Line . Are any of you guys plaing on seeing it?
Being homeschooled sounds like fun, to a degree. But yes, you can always work on the fabulous fan sites.
yes being home schooled if fun for the most part.
You do a great of running them.
Thanks! I have a lot of fun putting them together, getting the news letter out and answering fan mail.
Glad I wont be the only one home!
Speaking of JLY, I got mail from him today! Yay! He sent me a sweet note on one of his cards, an autographed picture and playbill (I had asked for and/or and he sent both. :)) He's SO fast, I only sent my letter to him last Monday. You can tell how much he appreciates his fans.
thats great! yes he is very fast about getting ti fan mail, i always get my letters back with in a week.
Off topic-
If any of you are titanic fans and hated it when jack died I have got something to show you, it is pretty funny, some one made a fake movie trailer for a movie where they find jack underwater and he is still alive, it is very well done.
i cant post the link because it is on youtube

That first photo that Erin posted just above is one of my favs. John told be about it the day after it happened because I went to pick my parents up who had seen Jersey Boys and I had seen Sweeney Todd and he told me all about taking that photo. He even demonstrated it to me... it was beyond adorable and showed how excited he was to simply be nominated (It was only a day or two after nominations were announced). That photo always makes me smile!

I'm interested in seeing it, but I highly doubt I'll be able to.
And this is a little random, but I was just watch TRL and behind one of the VJ's I saw a Jersey Boys billboard. What I wouldn't do to be in NYC...

Awww! I loved the picture, but it's nice knowing there's a great story to go with it. Thanks, wicked mimi. :)
I'm really looking forward to the Les Miz revival. I love that Celia was just cast as Eponine (my favorite character).

You and me both. :)
Kathryn, I've seen that Titanic clip! Titanic, like Wicked, has a certain reputation. But I really like the movie; Kate Winslet is one of fave actresses.

I love the first picture!
Okay, so this is off-topic, as is everything on BWW...but what else do you guys like to listen to? Besides Jersey Boys, obviously.
hey gav: who is that in your avatar?
There's music besides Jersey Boys? Just kidding. On those times when I actually manage to take "Fallen Angel" off repeat...
I listen to other shows (L5Y, LITP, ttB, Rent, AIDA, etc.)
and depending on mood, either movie soundtracks (instrumentals and vocal); Snow Patrol; Pete Yorn; Switchfoot; Natasha Bedingfield; some new young jazz singers, like Jamie Cullum and Madeleine Peyroux.

Right now I am in LOVE with LITP. I saw it twice in SF. I'm sad it's gone now =[[. But I got pictures! (hence the avatar. David Burnham is amazingly super.)
I love the pictures!
Oooh yay, I'm glad you loved it, Emily! I'm glad to hear you liked David and everyone raves about Elena. I am going to see LITP when it comes to NC in February. I can't wait, since the reviews for this touring cast have been wonderful. :)

Alejandra, on the far left is Wayne Brady. In the middle...some random audience member from Whose Line Is It Anyway. And on the right is one of my favorite actors, Chip Esten.
Here's my drop-down thing of music from my MySpace.

Aw, that's great Alejandra! JLY is really fast...I sent him a letter last week (Wednesday I think), so hopefully I'll be getting something back in the next day or two (the first letter I sent him I got back in a week). It's funny, cause like you, I also asked for an autographed picture and/or a Playbill. Wonder if I'll get both too...I'll be happy with either one though. :)

I love the picture of Michael and John. Look at that, Sweeney and Frankie haha
Light in the Piazza, beautiful, beautiful score. I absolutely love it! As for the music scene I'm into alternative, classical, opera, I'll listen to pretty much anything. I like to have an open mind with music. I'm especially partial to folky/rock/indie artists like Rufus Wainwright and Elliot Smith.

Ha ha, I listen to that all the time. I think it's a beautiful song and I can't get enough. Since I started listening to Jersey Boys I've been listening to a lot of The Four Seasons.
And I love Light in the Piazza. I saw it when it came on PBS awhile back and I fell in love with the music.
Edit: I love all of those pictures, Erin! I especially like the one with Christian and J. Robert holding the dogs.

I love that song! I used to never ever listen to it before I saw the show, and now it's one of the songs I repeat all the time.
Besides JBz, I listen to tons of other shows, and a lot of Broadway people's albums (I love Michael Longoria's!). I also like Frank Sinatra, the BeeGees, Journey, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Chicago - lots of stuff!

In a piece that one of the morning news shows did on John, they showed a photo of him as a little boy, and he had a kinda early Beatles mop top look. Very cute.
But even with that haircut, he still looked neat. As in, NOT at all sloppy.
When it comes to neatness, he seems to be very much his father's son.
Still, that photo made me wonder what he'd look like as an adult with longer hair.
