ahahaha
I hate Trig/Pre-Calc, but I think Algebra II was worse.
But the worst thing about this year? Having Physics and Trig/Pre-Calc aka TWO math classes!
I never really hated math, but I definitely don't miss it now. I had to take 6 credits for my major and I finished last year.

to me, geometry was the worst. algebra 2 doesnt seem too great either ugh, i also hate math
If it wasn't for a math class I would've never met my best friend. We bonded over our math hatred!

I have hated math since I was in kindergarten in 1961 and my teacher made me play with these things called Cusinaire Rods. They were supposed to teach me to count. I could only count with the TV channels we had in our area. 2,4,5,7,9,11 and 13. I spent years in school studying a subject that I couldn't even comprehend. Math to this day, serves very little purpose to me.
Hate it. I let my friends figure out the bills in restaurants.
When I got to college and had to take music theory, it was horrifying to realize - it's M A T H.

Yea, what exactly is the point of math. I mean, obviously some math is useful. I am in statistics now and although it's nearly impossible, I kinda do see the point where it could be used, but what I want to major in, has nothing to do with math. Yes, everyone should know math to a certain level but honestly....some is just pointless. Oh- and whats with not being able to use calculators in class? They were invented to be used- weren't they?
I just remembered last year I had to do logarithms (sp?)...I barely passed the class because of those da*n things!
Aww, I'm a math geek, I love it. I recently was really upset to find out my college's math club is currently inactive due to lack of interest. Got through AP calc in High School, so I'm currently not taking math and honestly I miss it. My friend who is taking advanced calculus sends me some proofs to work on to hold me over. I still have to take stats, but need to wait for a more difficult class to come up. Ah well, I'm proud to be a math geek in addition to being a pit and theatre geek.

I failed a math quiz today. I didn't know how to work with 1.46 billion and my funky new calculator.
Unless you're going to be a CPA, a stockbroker or a math teacher, anything more advanced than addition, multiplication et al is useless.
Not true MEF, lots of people in both social science and business need to know and take statistics.

MEF, so glad to hear that! I'll basically need to know how to pay bills, balance a checkbook and any other type of survival skill. Most of this stuff will be forgotton after college.
Beyond arithmetic and basica algerbra, I have no use for math. I pretty darn sure that I'm not going to do anything mathematically inclined in the future. I'm theoretically done with my HS math curriculum...which is why I get to experience the wonders of Calculus...oh yea. Who wants to join the club, people who are good at math, but still hate it?
No "THIS SHOULD BE ON THE STUDENT BOARD" raves yet?

Actually, statistics never bothered me as much as other forms of math. It was geometry that killed me in high school.

Yea, that would be me. I don't even think I'm good at it but I always get put in honors classes and survive. I hate it soooooo much!
I'm in Geometry and if it was a person I'd kill it, bring it back to life, and kill it again. I'd repeat this method until satisfied....oh, by the way, I hate math too.

Geometry is slightly more tolerable than Algebra because it's tangible. If it can be related back to something real, I can sometimes pretend that it matters enough to solve the problem.

Math comes easy to me. It's alright, I guess.
Ooh the one thing I honestly dislike about math I will agree with the person who's not a fan of logarithims. Though they were kinda fun to work w/ in calculus, hated it in algebra 2.
