Paranormal Activity 3 — Page 2

As this franchise consists mostly of prequels, all the information just keeps piling up. I watched the first two before this one and they just keep adding more details to the story and not all are fully explained yet. I wonder if they ever will move forward with it.

I wonder if the impact of the original was that you never knew why it all happened. All these background movies are creating a different kind of horror, based more on their peculiar approach to storytelling than leaving it all to our imagination.

See, I saw this last night and I thought it was by far the scariest one out of the three. Yea, it was a bit silly in some areas and some things went unexplained/were confusing but to be honest it added to the "wtf" factor and also set up future movies well. Cuz no matter what, this is not the last one.

Blaxx instead of spending your life being a grade A little b***h will you do everyone a favour and go and get laid and relieve some of that tension. You are like a walking stereotype in the worst way, so please, find a fulfilling job, a partner who can stand you or maybe a pet to give a sense of calm and focus. For years on this board you seem to only pop up in random threads with a bitchy comment....or worse an 'LOL'

As for the continuity it's quite simple really. Katie said in the first film that her house was burned down and they lost everything, yet that has yet to be seen. Yes we hear that this thing can erase their minds and memories of what happened but I’m pretty sure she would realise her parents are no longer around, plus I’m pretty sure her parents were mentioned as very much being alive in early films. Katie also told us that the spirit was attracted to her at a young age but her sister did see it, however in the new film it seems very much connected to her sister....not her, and so on and so on and so on

All these things (i hope) will be answered in the next film but at the moment it just seems a bit badly thought out.

I eagerly await your response, insult, i'm sure it will make my day.

Oh and Blaxx, none of that was in code......I’m sure you can get from it that I quite simply can’t stand you, as it would seem neither can many others......i bet that feels great, gives you a real sense of purpose.....go you!

I'm pretty sure that Micah makes a passing comment in the first film about her mother, making it sound like she is very much alive.
He say's something like 'We better not have your mother over' in relation to when they are talking about negative energy in the house.

The father also is not dead as Katie calls him in the first one to ask about the picture she found.

The burning of the house was in the trailer for PA3 (which I already mentioned, if you bothered to read the whole thread), but saved for future films.
Kristi was married to the demon. You must have not watched PA2, where Kristi and her husband pass the curse onto Katie.
