Posted: 6/29/06 at 10:04pmIt scares me. It's been so produced and produced and produced. Her voice that is.

She sounds exactly the same as when she sang "Happy Birthday" to Hugh Heffner, except they've added reverb and echo.
She's not winning a Grammy any time soon - or ever, for that matter - but I've heard worse.

Rumor has it she's Elphaba in the Wicked movie.

Posted: 6/29/06 at 10:17pmI've heard much better singing before. But I must hand it to her-she's finally doing something to earn money.

Posted: 6/29/06 at 10:20pmI'm sorry, but I'm a big Paris fan. Not of her "music career" per say, but I know if I were that rich I would be the exact same way, except of course I'd be seeing Broadway shows nightly :)

I heard a little bit of it.
Didn't like it.
But, I still look up to her because she's proof that you can become famous without doing anything.

I can't stand Paris "Hoe"ton.

Posted: 6/29/06 at 10:36pmHow can one not love "The Simple Life"? They both play their parts so well.
#9re: Paris Hilton Singing
Posted: 6/30/06 at 1:07amShe's decent. The song isn't the most artistic ditty in the world, she's got more talent than Duff or Lohan.

Which song are we talking about? I've listened to Stars are Blind.
Lohan and Duff are actually singing-ish in their songs. Hilton is just like...lightly talking. I mean, it's not as bad as you would think--but I don't think she's better than Lohan and Duff. Just my opinion.

There is no acting in "The Simple Life" that show is just pathetic. I'd rather employ an actress that actually needs the money. But yeah, i guess it is entertaining to see these 2 bratts for some people.

I enjoy this song.. I have it saved on youtube. I also think the video's kinda cool.
And don't diss her for having money. So what if she doesn't do anything.

Posted: 6/30/06 at 9:00amI might have spoken too soon about Lohan, but, Duff's excessive use of backup singer and digital editing in every song leads me to belive that she can't really sing.

Duff can sing.. and I'm one of the last to defend her.. but she can sing
As for Paris.. I would never buy the album, nor do I care to listen to her sing.. but I've heard SO much worse

Loves it. I totally have a kareoke song now. <33
My new goal in life is to use this as an audition song at school. Totally fits with the WSS theme.

Not at ALL impressed with Duff or Lohan's voices. I think Lindsay is a decent actress, though. I liked her a lot in the Freaky Friday remake.
Re: the Paris Hilton song. Wasn't it originally called "Screwed"? It sounds like they sampled parts of an old Blondie song.

Posted: 6/30/06 at 11:23amThere needs to be more, but the remixes, are so not hot. *breaksout the Lindsay* Someone has to make up for the b.spears void.

I can't stand Paris "Hoe"ton.
Wow...the wit is just DRIPPING off of that.
Not that I'm defending her but...is that the best that can be done?

Paris - not a great singer, but I've heard worse. Not the greatest song, but I've heard worse. It's bubbly and catchy if nothing else.
Insofar as Lohan - she's a good actress. But for the love of Pete, her songs are torture to listen to, IMO.
I prefer Christina. Now that girl can sing!
