The Games will be held August 30th to September 8th. The Opening Ceremony parade runs along the famous Champs-Elysees, with celebrations continuing at the Place de la Concorde. Once again, the beauty of Paris will be highlighted. Very exciting for those of us who enjoy Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Oops, I got the date wrong too. The opening ceremony is two days from now, on Wednesday August 28.

Paris, more gorgeous than ever. Almost enough to make me start flying again. Are transatlantic shipping/cruise routes still a thing?
The Bolero interlude was probably my favorite part, I expected the climax to be the lighting of the flame, but no - there was more!

it's a shame more people don't watch the Paralympics.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
