The creator of Altar Boyz came to my class today and said he wasn't a big fan of Sondheims. That was all good except a kid in my class shouted "Sondheim's a moron".
My problem (aside from my disagreement) the kid's experience with Sondheim has been two songs and an audio interview played in class.
Anyone else get frusterated with people like this?

ugh. YES.
all those Wicked people who claim it's their favorite show and it's the ONLY show they've ever hearda and they haven't seen it. They only own the CR.
or people who don't like Sondheim.
Euthanasia is good for more than one thing... MWAHAHAHAHA

oh my god--yes. This guy was talking about how the Hairspray movie was SO much better than the musical. I doubt he's even seen the musical.
The same guy said that Wicked was the biggest piece of junk he's ever seen...he hadn't even seen it at the time--I know that.
This is the guy who told me that strawberry poptarts only 40 calories. I RAN to my grocery store and found out it was FALSE! He claims he never said it.
He also said that the majority of STDs are spread in assisted living homes.
He's so brilliant.

Sondheim is like politics to me, if you're my friend and honestly don't like his work, we just don't talk about it.
